Zechs Merquise Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 looks VERY unpolished. Not what I was expecting from Capcom.
darkjak Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Like I've said, the graphics aren't that awful as you make it out to be. Remember that there's going to be a lot going on on the screen, unlike in RE4!
Guest Maase Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 They aren't as bad as i expected... Still bad, though.
Noku Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Good god... Still looks the same. So-called debut trailer is the exact same of what was shown when the game was announced, only with some red gooeyness splatting over the desktop at the end. Capcom makes me want to kill myself because of this, but then I think of Monster Hunter 3, and I just go back to being pissed off Seriously, this winter?!
Shino Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Lol, the graphics aren't bad. I only think that the small numbers of zombies might affect the original gameplay.
Noku Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Yes they are. This is RE4 engine we're seeing in action here. In my opinion, some of us have had their graphics palette dumbed down due to developers' laziness.
lostmario Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Boxart looks great. Shame about the number of zombies that will be onscreen.
Noku Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I count seven zombies on that boxart. At least we now know for certain that some parts of the game will deliver.
Dante Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Dead Rising Wii / Hitman Blood Money Comparison
Goron_3 Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Fucking LOL at some of those comments. hahahahahahaha. Oh god. Some people. Can you imagine the PS2 trying to run Metroid Prime?
nekunando Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 ..hmm.. yeh, reading that made me angry However, I do feel that a lot of us have lowered our expectations about what is possible to a degree! If you stick the Gamecube on and play a few games on it, you'll see a load of games better looking that a lot of what we see on Wii..
Konfucius Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Dead Rising Wii / Hitman Blood Money Comparison Who lets these people on the internet?
Emasher Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 What's sad is a lot of people I knew during last gen actually thought this.
Zechs Merquise Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 What is sad is that the video actually makes Chop till you Drop look pathetic and a real sad attempt at a game. However the idiot on Youtube comments just deserves to put in a special needs unit.
Retro_Link Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 New Trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/43352.html Looks ALOT better IMO! Still not RE4 quality [why exactly Capcom?], but looks good enough!
dazzybee Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Yeah. I was very impressed with the new trailer too; still a few months to go too! Can't wait to hear more and see how it plays
Noku Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Still looks like crap to me. Suppose it is nice to see more than seven enemies on screen (although that seems like a scripted event to me). Capcom = teh über failage with this.
Hellfire Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 It does look much better, let's see if the controls make up for less enemies.
Dazkarieh Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Call this game crap is to be nice with it...
Beast Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 If I was honest, I can't wait for it to come out. I think the controls might be okay, I'm not very bothered about how many zombies are on-screen at the same time as it's a zombie game and I'm bound to love it, lol. As for the graphics...not bad, I look in gameplay more than graphics anyway so as long as it plays good, I wouldn't be bothered. The boxart kicks ass. And the guy who typed those YouTube comments IS an ass.
