Daft Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Yay! Scraping by against Southend...................................
Shino Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Knowing Scolari a bit better, I'm gonna break the news to you guys. He's a shit strategist and the only thing he's good at is motivating the players.

Emerald Emblem Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Yet Southend are still as on top as ever. Edit: Whenever I comment Chelsea score. The hell?
Daft Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Yet Southend are still as on top as ever. Edit: Whenever I comment Chelsea score. The hell? Better post again, just to test.
dwarf Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Manu 2 points behind Liverpool. That will be awesome if they go top on Saturday, puts all the pressure on Liverpool.
Emerald Emblem Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 You have enough to go through even if I do have some weird power to make them score when i comment about them during matches. EDIT: What do you know, I don't, all a coincidence. EDIT EDIT: ...I'm scared.

Emerald Emblem Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 What a relief to see them score on their own. Well thats it, Chelsea are comfortably through in the end.
Dyson Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 4-1...against Southend, mind. Nothing to skeet over.
Fierce_LiNk Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Ah, a good victory for Manchester United. I don't care if we didn't get more than one goal, the fact is we're gaining ground now. 2 points behind Liverpool. Hopefully we'll be back on top, where we belong. *waves to Dazzybee...if he can see from down there*
Daft Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 4-1...against Southend, mind. Nothing to skeet over. Before this match we had 1 win in the previous 6 games so we definitely needed this.
Emerald Emblem Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Just took a look at the League table. To think Chelsea have been dragged into the fight for the champions league places with Villa, Arsenal and Everton. It's getting tight between 5 teams for the title now with Everton not far behind either but realistically very very slim chances of the title.
MadDog Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Mourinho has said to Sky Sports News that he wants to sign Jenas. And Adriano, could be part of a deal. Interesting stuff.
Emerald Emblem Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Milan are considering the bid put on for Kaka: http://www.premierleague.com/page/Headlines/0,,12306~1521680,00.html Odd since in the newspaper yesterday the bid was 175 million yet it's 107 million according to the article.
BlueStar Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Usually public enemy number one for Newcastle fans, biased mackem hack Loise Taylor has amazingly managed to write a fantastically accurate article about us for once. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2009/jan/15/sam-allardyce-newcastle-united-blackburn No apologising for Allardyce's abysmal tenure at NewcastleWith Sam Allardyce hosting his old club this weekend there is a tendency to rewrite history - don't be fooled, his time at St James' Park was an utter disaster The bit about the Cryochamber he bought at Bolton is particularly crackers.
gmac Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 an interesting statistic I heard the other day was that Spurs have not won a Premiership game with Gareth Bale in the team. could be wrong of course
Daft Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Losing at home to Stoke..... I'm not surprised really. I feel sorry for Southend not winning the other day. They caught us on a good day. Edit: Bollocks, we scored. What a farce. Second EDIT: Super Frank. I love him. We still shouldn't be bloody doing this.
Fierce_LiNk Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Yeeeeeees! I went fucking crazy when Berbatov scored! Wohoooooo. What a lovely Birthday pressie for me. Top of the league.
killthenet Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Brilliant second half, dire first. Results were fantastic all round apart from that fuck up at Stamford Bridge. What were you thinking Stoke, letting two late goals go in? Villa could have been ahead of Chelsea, now you've fucked it all up.
gmac Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 you never get a better feeling in football than the joy of the last minute winner
Gizmo Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Must say I was expecting a Stoke win today, with Chelsea's slightly dodgy defending and Stoke's uber set-pieces.
Dyson Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Likewise. Expect we'll be fighting for a CL qualifying spot this year if something doesn't change in the Chelsea camp sooner rather than later.
Ramar Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 Spurs bottom, where they belong, I shall enjoy it how ever brief it may turn out to be.
Roostophe Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 We were a bit lucky, today. Milner looked to handball, and it wasn't a penalty while Sunderland should have had one. Young's sending off looked a bit iffy. Matt Le Tissier said it was a two-footed lunge, but it looked to me like he just came in a bit late. But we're going to have to make do without Ashley for a bit now. I wonder how we'll do without him.
