NGamer's review...

Really get into it and you'll spend weeks finding the perfect 'solutions'. For everyone else, this is a rare actioner on Wii, and very competently handled.

My interest in this has sky-rocketed..it's getting very favourable reviews! and it's something different isn't it?

I believe the game is called Tenchu: Art Of A Ninja in Europe!

IGN have just scored this a respectable 8.0!

Agreed.

I was always going to get the game as I enjoy the Tenchu series but the positive reviews its getting just makes the deal even sweeter :)

Looks like we have a bit of a wait matey! It's been given a European release date of 4/04/09! Quite a while away! Suppose it misses alot of big hitters now!

This game is out on shelves for a couple of weeks now, and it has tickeled my interest. As in many cases, the reviews state the facts (linear, controls not very responsive, strange logic), but neglect to tell me if it's fun.

So, does anyone has this, and what do you think of it? Remember, the fate of my my dough lies in your hands...

I've bought this game, before Madworld, but I've been playing that instead since it's release. Now that's out of the way, I started playing this again yesterday.

Quick anwser, I think it is fun, and worthy of the money invested. You have to know though, this is coming from someone who hasn't played the previous games, or has much experience with stealth games alltogether.

Maybe I'll elaborate later, but for now, maybe you should check out IGN's video review. I normally don't myself, but I made an exception, and it basically sold the game for me. Not perfect, as the review also states, but certainly a nice effort.

Thanks for the advice!

I went ahead and bought it, and maybe it's because my expectations weren't very high, but I really like it. Nay, I love it! Never played Tenchu before either, but this one is so much fun! It's not everly complicated, but it's fun and oh so satifying! A little closer... Just a little closer... Wham bang, into the bushes and a sword in the belly. Now that's how a ninja does a kill, Ryu Hayabusa! No slicing and dicing on rooftops and planes, but silent, sneaky and not less deadlier for it.

If you like stealth, but not Tom Clancyfied (boring realism overboard,!) or you just like ninjas (and who doesn't? Eat that, pirates!), give this a try.

So I just read. I'll be wanting impressions of that cat gameplay! :D
You got it. :)

In the week that I have decided to watch how I spend my cash when it comes to Wii games and try and finish the games I haven't even played yet you throw this bargain at me! Curse you, RedShell!!
I'm becoming one of these so-called Greedy Gamers, so I've stopped buying cheap games for the time being! Don't you damn well tempt me, RedShell!
Sorry guys. :heh:

I'm actually on the same boat as you, some unfinished games/trying to cutback on new ones.

But I'm so weak! :D That, and...

I heard this game was meant to be pretty good. Wouldn't picking it up, the greedy gamer I am :)

Not going to though. Excitebots, Little Kings Story and Another Code are in front of this!! Though if it slips to under a tenner.....
