Cube
6. Write a short summary of what happened in the Cod War There were three Cod Wars. Cod War One took place between 1 September until 12 November 1958. tIt started when a new Icelandic law that expanded the Icelandic fishery zone was formed. The British wanted their ships to be escorted by their warships. It was expensive and a few disputes followed. They eventually reached an agreement. Cod War Two happened because Icelandic expanded it's fishery limits again. They got annoyed that British and West German were still fishing within those limits. The V/s Ægir chases a load of these ships out of the zone. The Icelandic force started cutting nets off the British trawlers. The next day more British ships returned with escorts. The warships were recalled on the 3 October 1973. An agreement was signed on 8 November. When these agreements expired (November 1975) the third Cod War began. Nets were cut off again and more disputes followed. the British sent a force of 22 frigates against the four Icelandic patrol vessels and two armed trawlers. Britain gave into the Icelandic demands when the Icelandic force threatened to destroy the NATO base at KeflavÃk.

jayseven
Ah! Veit ég það, Sveinki! Eigi skal lengi lÃtils biðja. Well in that case I've been trying too hard Can you tell us where it's from now/later? Google suggests it's a pop-culture proverb, where the phrase sort of means "kick back and chill now the hard times are over", or something. Lots of connotations are with rock bands, too, and perhaps reefers. Doesn't look like I'll get a point this round! Curses for going to bed at 10am. RE: Hat. It looks like that thing in the suitcase in pulp fiction. I say this because I haven't seen the picture. I apologise. dyson, if you don't do the adding by the end of the day, you're not going to get a point for making the round. That's why my List is all about, biatch. Mundi; once the round is over, we will have to wait for Dyson to provide an updated list of results before you calculate yours. Any calls for shotgun yet?
