ReZourceman Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 It wont pause/rewind etc. Is this just me or has it happened to other people?
Dante Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Nope but my Sky wont load some of the channels. The tv picture looks like washed out mess and sometimes frozen the skybox.
Ninty 182 Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 My sky plus box can also be unreliable at times but turning it off and on again at the mains usually sorts it out. Other than that I can't help you
Jimbob Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Mine had a problem of not rewinding, a simple un-plug and turn back on again sorted that out.
Cube Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 It happens quote often. The HDD erasing itself has also happened to me quite a few times.
conzer16 Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Just be aware that the UK is experienceing some of the lowest pressure weather systems for hundreds of years this weekend and this might affect satellite signals, strengths and quality.
ReZourceman Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 Thank the lord for Virgin+. Sky+ > Virgin+.
Raining_again Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Sky+ > Virgin+. Contradictory when you say sky+ owns virgin+ and your having issues with sky+
ReZourceman Posted March 10, 2008 Author Posted March 10, 2008 But, but Sky+ has more channels....Therefore better.
david.dakota Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 But, but Sky+ has more channels....Therefore better. GOD Channel? Audi Channel? WE don;t live in a Virgin area, but i'd have Virgin over Sky any day - VOD, fast, reliable broadband. The only think i'd miss wuld be Sky One - and thats only for Lost.
Sanchez Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Err, I've seen more positive press about Sky broadband than Virgin broadband. and I don't think cable offers more than 24mb/s yet.
McPhee Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 But, but Sky+ has more channels....Therefore better. Sky has more channels, Sky+ is just a service. Virgin+ is better than Sky+, but Sky has the better selection of shows in the first place. Thats what i was meaning. If i could combine V+ with Sky's channel selection i'd be very happy indeed
