Dyson Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Warning: This thread contains nonsensical ramblings about how awesome rain is. You know when you sit inside and you see the rain and either; 1. You think "Fuck, wouldn't want to go out there"; or, 2. You can lose your thoughts in it etc I love it. I love rain. Why? I was walking home from the bank after having deposited £145 in cheques (paycheck and xmas money), and when I came out originally the sky was overcast but nothing was falling. As I left the bank, there was a light spittle, so I put my Shuffle on to select a song for me, and what better song for it to choose than Jeff Buckley's Lover, You Should Have Come Over. As I walked, listening to this song intently, and as the rain started coming down heavier and heavier, soaking me more and more with each footstep, I knew I couldn't be happier, which is odd because I havn't recieved any Uni offers, there are tons of deadlines and a few exams to look out for and I'm coming down with a seriously bad cold, you'd imagine it to be shit. But no, thanks to the rain, and Jeff Buckley. And possibly £145 in my bank account I felt like I had to write it somewhere, sorry if you couldn't give a damn So...yeah. How's rain for you? ^_^
ShadowV7 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I love rain. I love going out in it, same as going out in thunder storms and strong winds. I always see the fun side of it, and if you with friends it's even better. I like it splashing off my face, and then you look up and see it all fall, and you can just watch it and not be aware the time flying by.
Tellyn Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I don't actually mind it. There was one hell of a storm yesterday, and it's great to sit in the conservatory listening to it hammering on the windows.
Wesley Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I love biking in the rain down a dark country lane.
Charlie Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I hate the rain. It's just so depressing and boring. Driving in the rain is horrible too, especialyl when there are big bastard puddles at the side of the road which you can't see when it's dark or you're behind a big lorry.
MoogleViper Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Oh and it's raining again. Loud on your car like bullets on tin. Oh and it's raining again. Open the door and pulling me in. Sadness like water, raining down.
Dyson Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 Oh and it's raining again. Loud on your car like bullets on tin.Oh and it's raining again. Open the door and pulling me in. Sadness like water, raining down. That too Brilliant song.
Zell Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I don't mind rain, some people seem to be completely allergic to it. It's a bit depressing though when you're inside and you know you can't go out. Also rain often comes with cold, and hot weather >>>>>>> cold weather.
M-PG71C Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Depends honestly. If it is like a thunder storm or something, I actually like it since it is different from the norm. If it is just rain, then that sucks. I prefer warmer, dryer weather in general. To each their own though. :P
Supergrunch Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Rain is my favourite type of weather, the heavier the better.
Hem Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I love walking in the rain. You mean you've actually ventured outside? Only kidding Kigan :P
Ollie Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I love the rain, I think it's romantic in a strange kind of way. I have to admit I prefer rain when you are in a hot country and it's warm, especially if your in the sea or a swimming pool!
Guest Stefkov Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I love sitting in my room on my pc when its raining. I love just looking at it.
Kirkatronics Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 rain > everything rain > oxygen rain < beer beer > everything i love the rain, my friends think im an idiot cos i want to go outside in it.
Wesley Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 The only thing I don't like about the rain is when you're going somewhere and you can't change your clothes when you get inside.
Guest Stefkov Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 rain > everythingrain > oxygen rain < beer beer > everything i love the rain, my friends think im an idiot cos i want to go outside in it. By that logic everything < everything... I like your thinking.
Roostophe Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I love the rain! I love hearing it batter the windows while I'm lying in bed at night. I also have fond memories of walking into school soaking wet from the rain pissing down. Then entering the warmth of the classroom to see all your classmates just as wet as you are. That experience got so much better when I was at secondary school. I must try the rain + Jeff Buckley one day.
Kirkatronics Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 By that logic everything < everything...I like your thinking. everything < everthing else

Raining_again Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Or do the above lyrics come from your username? I'm not that awesome lol XD
welsh_gamer Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I love being on a bus when it's raining. It's always nice and warm, and you can watch the driplets of rain move around on the windows. You can also laugh at all the other people on the bus route who are not on yet, who are most likely soaking wet. Driving in the rain is no fun though.
MoogleViper Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I'm not that awesome lol XD Sure you are. Raining again is actually a loves song he wrote about you. He's mad for you. "Oh, and its raining again Open the door and pulling me in" See he wants you to pull him into the back seat of the car. Go for it!
