ViPeR Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 It's true, it really was funny as hell. Complete and utter randomness in a way only BBC2 can pull off.
link64uk Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 i watched and was wetting myself laughing its simply comic genius
fatnickc Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 This week, like last week, i liked the first 15 minutes, then got very bored by it and went to sleep. Very good for fifteen minutes though.
Atomic Boo Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 i didnt really understand it tbh. i want more of the office!
old_gregg Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Funnny as fuck! Anyone notice when on the Sports bit, on the side thyey have thses stats and one made me burst out laGHFIN: Most langauge Spoken: Chelsea-52 Bolton-34 Ha, quality show
Mr_Odwin Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I didn't like it. It didn't keep my attention last week so I didn't watch it this week. After the lol-ish moments of Nevermind the Buzzcocks this was a let down.
weeyellowbloke Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Had me laughing a few times, but the way it bounced about with the editing like a hyperactive toddler on too many sherbert fountains irritated me after a while. Prefer The Day Today for a spoof news program, it's old but still hellishly funny.
AshMat Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I love the buzzcocks, then this was weell... what was it? I thoguht it was crap i had no idea what was going on..
MoogleViper Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 "I'm certainly not going to buy one. I wasn't anyway but I'm not now."

Still, I did prefer the Buzzcocks..
Haden Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Breaking News if you guys like this watch The Day Today then Brass Eye.
old_gregg Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I thought that many of the best bits were in the small scorlling text and things on the side.Still, I did prefer the Buzzcocks.. Yeah. I like the Buzzcocks but really its a completey different type of comedy. I mean Buzzcocks is more lol funny, where as Broken News is more kind of understandable comedy that gets under your skin. It will build a joke up for the whole show before delivering one killer punchline at the end. Like in the first episode about Tomatoids where the news reporter is standing outside a conference building all episode waiting for the profeesor who made the 'discoverie' to come out, only to have just as hes coming out we lose the connection
Towers Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 The day today and brass eye were both utter brilliant programs! Chris Morris is a genius and I'm looking forward to his new program called IT
Andrew Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I like it. I'm always looking for good new television-related procrastination solutions.
RoadKill Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Breaking News if you guys like this watch The Day Today then Brass Eye. Absolutely no doubt that this is the correct response. Chris Morris is a legend.
