ssj Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 There doesn't seem to be a great deal of stuff on TV this xmas. Besides the obvious soaps (corry, emmerdale and eastenders) the only thing to note (as far as I can tell) are . Extras (final last 90 minute episode) . Doctor who (Titanic episode)
Jimbob Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 And thats about it, there are a few good things on over the holidays but not a lot. I mean, they are repeating the Vicar of Dibley Xmas specials that were on last year for peats sake.
welsh_gamer Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Harry Hill's Xmas TV Burp should be worth a look along with Dr Who and Extras. The BBC are showing their own version of Oliver Twist over the next few day's, so I might watch that too.
Rowan Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 I'm quite looking forward to Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe Special on this Wednesday. It's a Xmas special of his usual Screenwipe show. Should be good as I love the guy
ssj Posted December 17, 2007 Author Posted December 17, 2007 Deal or no deal are having the scrooge vs santa week this week and the xmas star week next week
MoogleViper Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 That reminds me, has anybody noticerd that Clive (I think that's his name) from Deal or No Deal looks like Dunning Smith from Hotel Dusk?
ShadowV7 Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 TV for Christmas is sucky. Get's worse everywhere. There's nothing I want to watch.
Roostophe Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Only really Extras and Harry Hill that takes my fancy, but late at night I might be able to watch part of a Fullmetal Alchemist marathon on Anime Central during Chrimbo. That'll be good.
Slaggis Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Deal or No Deal makes me want to hurt someone. There's a few things on TV at christmas, though I usually just enjoy the movies that are on.
rokhed00 Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Deal or No Deal makes me want to hurt someone. It better be Noel Edmonds. TV sucks anyway, Christmas TV just compounds things.
DomJcg Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Only really Extras and Harry Hill that takes my fancy, but late at night I might be able to watch part of a Fullmetal Alchemist marathon on Anime Central during Chrimbo. That'll be good. I'll join you on that! Also i swear some movies are on BBC on Crimbo day? and the radio has the generic harry potter readings =D
ssj Posted December 17, 2007 Author Posted December 17, 2007 Isn't there a show on bbc staring David Mitchell from Peep Show? Britain sings christmas should be good on Saturday.
Slaggis Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 It better be Noel Edmonds. TV sucks anyway, Christmas TV just compounds things. It most certainly is. Though if he's not available, then the person closest to me will do. Shrek 2's on, which is great!
welsh_gamer Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Isn't there a show on bbc staring David Mitchell from Peep Show? That would be Jam and Jerusalem. You have been warned....
Coolness Bears Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 ok, i looked at the TV guide today! they are showing the same films as last christmas and the christmas before that etc... There is very little i want to watch, except Oldboy which i haven't seen before!
BeerMonkey Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 christmas friday night project with special guest hosts....girls aloud :/ yippee girls a fuking aloud
flameboy Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 can't wait for extras, apparently it is very poignant and Ricky Gervais acting is very good.
Ninty 182 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Extras Tv Burp Nevermind the Buzzcocks that's pretty much all I could see. I don't mind though really as I'll hopefully just be playing on Mario Galaxy rather than watching TV. It definately seems worse this year than any other. For god's sake they've got eastenders on twice on christmas day alone
