Girl's Aloud should stop remaking songs. Or making songs for that matter. Period.

They defile any piece of music they lay their generic Barbie girl mitts on.

It doesn't help that the song is cheesy 90's punk pop does it? :)

Whetus for me, can't stand Girls Aloud full stop. They should split up, before it is too late. What am i saying, it is too late.

As far as I know I think they're all the original members from whichever TV programme it was which made them.

I actually quite like them, nice lively, jumpy music.

Your thinking of Sugababes mate.

EDIT: Yes Ashmat I think it was...the two bands that came out of it were: One True Voice (the boy band) and Girls Aloud, who have done brillaint considering they came out of a TV Series.

For some reason they thought that giving One True Voice a Bee Gee's song to cover was a good idea for their first song.

Wheatus were at our Student Union about a week ago. I think I'll always prefer A Little Respect

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqgGfC8A5-c

from them, although it can't touch Erasure. But the video does that lively band member with the bongos and fruit.

As for Teenage Dirtbag, it's the Wheatus Massive all the way. Girls Aloud have remixed the lyrics and even look like they're miming at parts.

Ugh, they had to change some lyrics. The original was a bit cheesy-pop in the first place, but now 'he' rocks in 'nike socks'? Couldn't keep listening >_<

I know some of the lyrics had be changed so they didn't look any more like dykes, but it was nice to see A1 impersonators as the male vocals.

I'm always one to jump to GA defence. I find that they have more substance than many of their contemporaries, but it's only found in few and far-between tracks.

I'd like the cover if the chorus packed some punch.

lol @ "Listen to Iron Maiden, baby, with me" in that high, sweet tone.

Wheatus for me.

Girls Aloud are clearly myming (sp?) in that video.

I voted Wheatus. Spent many a day in year 7 thinking it was a quality song.

I thought modern technology was sufficiently enough advanced to make anybody sound good - I've been proven wrong by girls aloud.

But I voted "both crap" on principle and after watching both videos I think it was the right choice.

*goes back to listening to Exilia while watching girls aloud muted :D *

I rate this as highly as I rate their cover of 'Walk This Way'. So, not very high at all.

Or it could be the second delay of video and sound?

They are singing live :indeed:

Im pretty sure I read they have given up on covers after being ashamed by their christmas cover of Tiffany. I think this is only for that Radio One 40 years thing.
