canand Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 MATtheHAT thanks for the info I did not know that and are they still together?
MATtheHAT Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 As far as I know, GAME still owns Gameplay. That is to say they both come under the same corporate umbrella. They still operate and trade as seperate companies, but they are still both part of the same GAME group. That is why you will often see different deals from the two companies. In the same way as PC world and Curry's.
RedShell Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Japanese site is up, some nice direct feed vids on there: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/rmcj/new/index.html Bring... it... on! Really can't wait for this game now!
Ashley Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 As far as I know, GAME still owns Gameplay. That is to say they both come under the same corporate umbrella. They still operate and trade as seperate companies, but they are still both part of the same GAME group. That is why you will often see different deals from the two companies. In the same way as PC world and Curry's. And the same with Gamestation and Game.co.uk. All four companies are owned by the same moron, but run as four different companies (except Game & the website which is obviously more closely linked). Nobody asked, but I felt like saying.
MATtheHAT Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Canand, I am sure the official MKWii site will be up very soon. If we get one at all. The may just integrate it into the official Nintendo site. Just keep checking every so often.
MATtheHAT Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I well play with Wii Wheel and it looks good. That Wii wheel looks 'The Shit'. I love how they have extended the B button, should feel really nice doing a hop into a powerslide.
canand Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Here is the Playable characters list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Kart#Playable_characters
Helmsly Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 gametrailers have the Japanese opening and a few other videos: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/5151.html
Guest Maase Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 The MK Opening is fun Im actually hyped for this, maybe i'l buy it
Owen Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I will play with Wii Wheel and it looks good. Thats hopefully what i've preordered on GAME.co.uk, i want the official Wheel as it looks much more sturdy and chunky, unlike Games unofficial one! Both were the same price though, and last time i checked the one 'made by Nintendo' is no-longer on the site!
ShadowV7 Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 The Wii Wheel will sit somewhere on my bookshelf gathering dust. I'll use it to try it, but to be honest, I doubt i'll like it.
nekunando Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 The Wii Wheel will definitely be what I go for first.. For me, the Wii and DS are about new experiences and new ways to play (one of the main reasons I am looking forward to PES 2008 on Friday)! I'm sure I will try all control methods at some stage, but I'm certainly willing to get to grips with the wheel until it feels totally natural. Excite Truck felt tricky at the beginning, but after a while I was turning perfectly and finished everything in the game- and it felt great! It's great to have different options.. you can pick what feels best or most fun for you : peace:
canand Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 You get a Free gift if you Pre-Order at Game dont you.
Davey_T Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I cant even remember where i pre-ordered this from. And i dont know how i can find out haha
Helmsly Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I wonder if that Mario Kart Circuit remix song from smash brothers brawl will be in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgXGuqvW1js I think its too good to leave out
Kurtle Squad Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 That Wii wheel looks 'The Shit'. I love how they have extended the B button, should feel really nice doing a hop into a powerslide. Yeah...It looks pretty awesome, s'just not needed. I'll probably use it though:).
MATtheHAT Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I doubt I would use it online. But when family and friends are round, it would be in party mode steering wheel.
Mike Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I'm having so much fun with Brawl at the moment, I don't know whether I'll want to get this when it comes out. But then again, I don't want to miss out on the opportunity of playing a big first party game before the Americans..
spirited away Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Can't wait for this game! After reading the Ngamer review though, it seems Nintendo have made a great online interface at the expense of split-screen.
