Roostophe Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Nope, here's some more info: It's in the era of the Speccy/Amstrad. A game with one word beginning with 'S'. You control a ninja, moving from static screen to static screen. It's not Shinobi, is it?
Patch Posted August 21, 2007 Author Posted August 21, 2007 Not Shinobi. It was written by Durell Software Ltd. And I tell a lie - it apparently came out in 1986, one year after the release of the NES. Number 3 was released on many formats: BBC Micro, Spectrum, Archimedes. With a little Googling, you could find the answer quite quickly.
Jonnas Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Dammit, I knew that name, Saboteur. I didn't guess it, but I know it was a stealth game.
Patch Posted August 22, 2007 Author Posted August 22, 2007 Number 1 is Saboteur Is number 3 Last Ninja? Saboteur and Last Ninja are correct. It's actually Last Ninja 2, but I'll give it you. :-) Scores Zechs Merquise: 26 theguyfromspark: 22 Hellfire: 9 Coolness Bears: 9 4q2: 8 steggy: 7 Happenstance: 7 immy: 7 darksnowman: 6 Jamba: 5 peterl0: 5 Shino: 4 EchoDesiato: 4 Jonnas: 4 Patch: 4 welsh_gamer: 4 Mcj Metroid: 4 Brass_Monkey: 4 Gentleben: 3 Tales: 3 YanRuo: 2 The Villan: 2 Ollie: 2 Zell: 2 Tetzcatilipoca: 2 thirtynine: 2 Mundi: 1 Petey_Piranah: 1 Daft: 1 Deathborn: 1 Emasher: 1 tapedeck: 1
Cube Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Is it Donkey Kong for the Game Boy running on the Super Game Boy?
Jonnas Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 You're both correct, but I just wanted the name of the game and Shino got it first. And yes, it was an awesome underappreciated game. darksnowman Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Yep, that Donkey Kong game is really good - and lengthy! Some of the later levels are huge in comparison to how the game sets out. Great stuff, shoulda been my point if I'd seen the pic before you two. ¬.¬
Tetzcatlipoca Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Right, let's keep this going ... 1. 2. 3. 4.
darksnowman Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 First one is Waverace on the Gameboy. Bottom one is Pokemon Trading Card Game on the Gameboy Color.
Shino Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 1. WaveRace gameboy? 3.Another Code: Two Memories 4. Pokemon TCG Edit: NOOOO!! Damn you! Why did I had to confirm them!
Tetzcatlipoca Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Damn, ye're fast ... right, that's two for darksnowman and one for Shino ... I'll update the table when someone gets the second one ...
darksnowman Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Ha, sorry Shino but I need the points! Atleast you got Another Code... I just couldn't quite recognise that one. I feel I should recognise the glasses one, but I just can't get it...!
Tetzcatlipoca Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Ha, sorry Shino but I need the points! Atleast you got Another Code... I just couldn't quite recognise that one. I feel I should recognise the glasses one, but I just can't get it...! Haha I wasn't expecting replies for ages ... and Another Code is the glasses one ... the second is the one ye're trying to figure out ... I was hoping it'd stump some people for a bit!
darksnowman Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Haha I wasn't expecting replies for ages ... and Another Code is the glasses one ... the second is the one ye're trying to figure out ... I was hoping it'd stump some people for a bit! Ah right, I've just realised that the two pictures there go together to make a DS game, right? If I'd noticed that before I might've got it! I don't have any idea what the other remaining one is, I'll have to leave it for someone else.
Zechs Merquise Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Second one I hear you say? Dead easy: Zoop!
Tetzcatlipoca Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Second one I hear you say? Dead easy: Zoop! Well that lasted a good 2 hours and 44 minutes! Zechs Merquise: 27 theguyfromspark: 22 Hellfire: 9 Coolness Bears: 9 darksnowman: 8 4q2: 8 steggy: 7 Happenstance: 7 immy: 7 Shino: 6 Jamba: 5 peterl0: 5 EchoDesiato: 4 Jonnas: 4 Patch: 4 welsh_gamer: 4 Mcj Metroid: 4 Brass_Monkey: 4 Gentleben: 3 Tales: 3 YanRuo: 2 The Villan: 2 Ollie: 2 Zell: 2 Tetzcatilipoca: 2 thirtynine: 2 Mundi: 1 Petey_Piranah: 1 Daft: 1 Deathborn: 1 Emasher: 1 tapedeck: 1 Keep the pictures coming, people!
darksnowman Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 Well it means I can get no points but I'll stick up a few to keep things ticking over. First up, this is a Gameboy space type shooter. I played it quite a bit back in the day, and found it to be pretty class - it seemed to move very fast as well! Next, this is a game I played around the same time as the first one, I also thought it was pure class. And third, some 3D and more recent so you all better get it no bother! I think this one is wick though it did get some pretty good review scores - and thus the reason why I was conned into gettin it.
darksnowman Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 Is number three Forsaken? Quick fire replying, you'd be right. Lol and I thought it might be tough!
Roostophe Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 Quick fire replying, you'd be right. Lol and I thought it might be tough! Yeah Boy!
