Razz Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Two dreams that i had recently which are pretty stupid: 1) Was watching big brother, and BB gave the housemates a dog (Chiuaha) for the day (I watched it before i went to bed where they requested one) and Charlie got hungry so roasted it. It made me laugh alot after waking up. 2) After watching lots of Captivity trailers, i dreamed i was in a perspex cage/tower thing, with elisha cuthbert's opposite mine. I managed to get into her's, and we had to climb it?! Then an iris scanner popped up to check who's in the cage/tower and i had to cover my eyes. We got out, then we got caught by the psycho guy and i woke up after being strangled. Also, this sounds like i made this up, but the night before i heard about the Virginia shootings back in april, i dreamt i got shot, and I've never dreamt that before. One of my scariest nightmares ever.
Ellmeister Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 I keep dreaming bout people, I've never really remebered my dreams, I only remember ones with people I know. The latest one was me with a girl I used to like..doing stuff. Can't remember what that stuff was though lol. I watched a lot of bleach once and dreamed I was a shinigami like person. Good times.
Razz Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 This sounds ridiculous, but do any of you guys ever have dream sequels so to speak, like continuation of a previous dream?
Slaggis Posted June 20, 2007 Author Posted June 20, 2007 This sounds ridiculous, but do any of you guys ever have dream sequels so to speak, like continuation of a previous dream? Kind off, I dream a continuation of a previous dream sometimes, as in I have the same dream again but then more is added to it. It happened when I had a sort of resi evil dream where my i had to attack my zombie sister with a spade, run down my street, see my mum fall over and instead of helping her kept running lol. I then ran past my school where on the windows were pictures of the cast of buffy the vampire slayer. The next part was I ended up in somewoods in a caravan with zombies pushing it back and forth and I kept shouting "Stop! You're breaking the china!". I wrote this down when I had it because It was just so strange.
Paj! Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Loads. My dreams allmost always have a significant meaning that I can relate to my life. On the subject of dream sequels, I had a few years ago. I was in my classroom (P6) and all my classmates were running away or hding under the tables, trying to escape Freiza (a DBZ villain). I remember being very obviously there, standing up, while everyone else hid, and he shot me with a laser. This dream continued a few times. I didn't die, it just went through me. I remember chasing him around the school a few times too.
Rummy Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 I have quite a few, I used to write them down when I woke up, but I got lazy. Worrying though, over the last few nights, I seem to be getting shot alot in my dreams
welsh_gamer Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Last night, I dreamt that I was at my old school, and I was taking part in some kind of quiz with a team of girls. I got asked the question "Which American band is the worst", to which I answered "Kiss". Then I was in a University's halls of residence, where an old bully from primary school, was squirting water through a water pistol at a wall, and the water was going through the wall, destroying my posters. How very random!
Blue_Ninja0 Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Have any of you had a dream in which you were aware that you are actually dreaming? My story: I was 7 or 8 years old or something. I was dreaming that i was driving a car and that my brother was sitting on the other front seat of the car. The strange thing is that i was not viewing the dream in a 1st person perspective, through my eyes, but like a 3rd person perspective, over my shoulder, so i could see my back. Then i said this to my brother: Me: "Hey! Why am i seeing like if a camera was behind us? I am watching us from back there and not from my eyes!! This must be a dream!" My brother: "Hmm, maybe. Then why don't you just wake up from the dream?" Me: "Okay, i will do it. No, wait. We're probably still in the middle of the night and if i wake up it will be hard for me to get back to sleep again. I'll just stay in the dream and wake up later." It felt really strange that i was actually aware that it was a dream and i felt the power of waking up whenever i wanted. I don't know if i could wake up if i wanted because i decided not to, so it's untested. lol It never happened again.

MunKy Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 This sounds ridiculous, but do any of you guys ever have dream sequels so to speak, like continuation of a previous dream? Theres a pub I've only ever seen in my dreams. It's been in two or three of my dreams and theres no pub I've been to in real life that resembles it really. I still haven't seen the exterior.
My Buttons are Magic! Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 This sounds ridiculous, but do any of you guys ever have dream sequels so to speak, like continuation of a previous dream? all the time =) see my dream thriller - i had part 2 to Busted :P..
Coolness Bears Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Have any of you had a dream in which you were aware that you are actually dreaming? Sort of. My Dream: I had dreams for about a week where i was in the corner of the room on my chair looking at myself sleeping. It was from a first person view and i could see myself lying in bed. I just sat there and didn't attempt to wake myself up. I woke up each morning slightly confused. That is one of my weirder dreams. After that week they have never occured again. This sounds ridiculous, but do any of you guys ever have dream sequels so to speak, like continuation of a previous dream? Yes i have had a continuation of a dream from one night to the next.
Daft Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Last night I drempt I was Chase (sp?) from House and House had fired me and I was getting really teary....He offered to buy me some trainers...It was all very emotional.

I'm going to have an nightmare with me staring at myself with an expression less face.
Razz Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Two quite traumatising recurring nightmares I used to have when I was around 3 until 7: The first would be me sitting up in the middle of the school playground, with an orange evening sky and not a soul around. I could never move my legs and there would always be a chilling thumping sound which got closer and closer (like jurassic park) and i just couldnt move. I used to be so upset by this. The second would be me and my mum in a car, me in the back seat. She'd park, then get out of the car but leave the handbrake off. the result was that the car would roll away, and id scream and scream because i was so terrified, but my mum never heard me. The irony, is that when i talked to my mum about my nightmares after waking up etc, she'd always promise me that it'd never happen, and that she'd never ever leave me. But she did. And now I never want to speak to her again.

At least it was me and not someone else watching me, that would have freaked me out even more. Hope you don't have nightmares tonight Haggis. I certainly hope never to have that dream again.

Thanks, I hope the same. You've basically described the freakiest dream/nightmare I could imagine. I wonder how you even came to get that dream in the first place, or more to the point what its meant to mean?
Daft Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 When I was really young I use to have a dream where I was falling. It was really wierd becuase the it started of a bit like the beginning of Eastenders and I would be falling towards London. I would eventually fall through my house, actually going through the building not physically smashing through it, and when I hit the basement everything went black and I woke up... Another dream I use to have was that I was asleep in my room like normal. My bed was at the opposite end of the room to the door. The door would be wide open and it would be pitch black and I could feel something slowly creeping towards me getting closer and closer and as it finally was about to touch me I actually had a huge spasm and woke up... Both great reoccuring nightmares...
Razz Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Yeah, recurring nightmares were total bitches. I used to dread going to sleep.

I wonder how you even came to get that dream in the first place, or more to the point what its meant to mean? I know i can normally explain my dreams but this one just baffled me. Dreaming your falling is meant to be the most common dream people have. I have had it a few times in different scenarios and the sensation of falling is an odd feeling.
Slaggis Posted June 21, 2007 Author Posted June 21, 2007 Off the subject of dreams for a second, whats that feeling where you sitting down and suddenly can see yourself falling to the gound then jerking up just before you hit the ground? Is that a daydream or something else?

Is that a daydream or something else? I know what you mean, it happens alot to me, either when im day dreaming, or when im drifting off to sleep. I wouldnt know how to classify it though.
Daft Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 jesus you guys are really freaking me out with these nightmares. (hides behind his teddy bear) lol Well, its not liked I enjoyed having them...I use to wake up in a sweat. Off the subject of dreams for a second, whats that feeling where you sitting down and suddenly can see yourself falling to the gound then jerking up just before you hit the ground? Is that a daydream or something else? I think you need to see a doctor. Seriously though I've never heard of what you're talking about.
killthenet Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Realising you're in a dream is called Lucid Dreaming. Apparently with some practice you can control what happens - do whatever you want. I've never had one, i'm rubbish at discounting the reality of my dreams.
