Ellmeister Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Learning theory atm, I'm starting my lessons soon Probably going to do an intensive course because one of us in my family needs to drive quickly. Theory seems ok atm, although I found out someone really smart failed O.o I hope I pass!
Platty Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I learnt to drive in 2000/2001. Back then I paid £12.50 per hour lesson with First Time and drove a Corsa. In total I done 31 hours and passed my test first time with 7 minors I have now been driving for 6 years.
Supergrunch Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I got my provisional and had a few lessons and practice with my dad in Summer 2006... then I got a bit bored of it. I might take it up again once my exams are over.
Portlett Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 ive done my theory and started driving end of last summer, had a few then went back to uni, did some when i was back for christmas and when i was back for easter. Hoping to pass this summer. Im driving in a Honda Jazz
Excelle Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 God, it's been 8 or 9 years since I learnt to drive! *old* If you can get someone to take you out outside of driving lessons (once you've done the basics), it will help A LOT. I spent a lot of time out with my dad and by the time I passed my test I was quite happy to be out on my own Oh and get some motorway lessons if you can. I didn't, and it was ages before I was able to get on there, cos I'm a coward
Tom Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I have my theory on the 23rd! I'm doing a semi intensive course at the moment, and absolutely loving it. I wish I hadn;t waited till I was 22 before getting in a car.

Daft Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 If you want to pass your test the best thing to do is to take your time in the test...but don't hesitate.
Bren Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I failed my test twice, gave up. foool! just gonna cost you more when you go back to it. I passed 2 years ago last week Finally got my 12 point limit now, so re-assuring that is lol.
Fields Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 foool! just gonna cost you more when you go back to it. Nah, I just drive without a license. Nobody ever checks.
