Personally, I love the asian skin tone. Not too light or too dark, so perfect. But when I talk about asians, I mean of a Indian/middle eastern decent, not Chinese.

There are various places outside the Meditteranean which are classed as having a 'Meditteranean' climate ie in between temperate and sub-tropical.
