If that Metroid date does turn out to be true then we had better get it around the same time or there will be hell to pay. Also, im happy with the emergence of a date for Chibi Robo on the DS.

Yeah me to, if we don't get Chibi Robo around that time I will likely import it.

On Metroid when can we seriously expect it? Can anyone remember the time delays between releases of the previous 2?

August/September was always a likely date for Metroid Prime 3 (When you place it in relation to Mario Galaxy and SSBB); wouldn't be surprised if this is a real US date.

Maybe Europe will get it September/October.

(then Mario November/December and SSBB around March; although these may be the other way round now, what with all the latest rumours about SSBB)

According to Wiki(So may not be accurate)

Prime 1: NA (Nov 02), JP (Feb 03), EU (Mar 03) 5 Months

Prime 2: NA (15 Nov 04), EU (26 Nov 04), JP (May 05) 11 Days

Hunters: NA (Mar 06), EU (May 06), JP (Jun 06) 2 Months

I wont mention Pinball on the DS.

Looking at Prime 2, hopefully it wont be too long after the US. I suppose it depends if they hold back to US release to translate the EU version, or if they've been translating as they go.

Mario galaxy?

This is only a summer release dates....thats what it says at the top...which is why it seems odd that it runs to August and has Boogie listed as a Fall release... which is one of the reasons I doubted it at first...

Nintendo: EA, can you give us some summer release dates?

EA: Sure. We will be releasing Boogie in Fall.

Nintendo: But, thats not the sum..

EA: We will be releasing Boogie in Fall. Bye.

Sounds about right.

They are translating as they go. Hunters isn't good example, as it was done by NST, which means primary language was japanese.

BTW, this list is only partial, because it is missing Dewy and DDR Hottest Party, which are both slated for August in USA by Konami.

Someone stated something funny (well to me) over at Eurogamer:

'I imagine the NoE list will look exactly the same but add three months to all the dates. And remove the first-party games.'

That made me laugh..So so right...

Although i'm thinking (intelligiantly) it would be best for NOE to release Metroid over here at least 2-3 weeks before Halo 3. So i'm guessing September 7th 2007.

A man can dream....

Seriously?

Metroid Prime, great games though they are, just aren't in the same league of popularity as Halo.

Be better off if they went as early as possible, or much later, from Halo 3s launch if they don't want it to be overlooked.

Your right, but i doubt we'll get it earlier then USA, and if they go later with it...then they have a fight on their hands considering the Big Q3/Q4 titles coming out (GTA for example).

In all honestly Europe getting it in July would be nice, but will it happen?
