Excelle Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Of course, it means nothing for Europe, but at least if the games are around, we will have them at 'some point' Nintendo officially states that the following games will be coming out for Wii in Japan in 2007: * Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race (DK Jet or DK Bongo Blast, US) - June 28, 2007 * Wii Health Pack -- 2007 * Disaster: Day of Crisis - 2007 * Mario Party 8 - 2007 * Project H.A.M.M.E.R. - 2007 * Wii Music - 2007 * Super Mario Galaxy - 2007 * Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 2007 * Battalion Wars II - 2007 * Forever Blue - 2007 * Mario Strikers Charged - 2007 * Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - 2007 * Mario and Sonic at the Olympics - 2007 Source: IGN
Nintenchris Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 ...and in Europe the only solid release date we have for any of those games is... Mario Strikers Charged 25/05/2007
Mr. Bananagrabber Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Man, that's a pretty great list. Mario Galaxy, Football, Metroid, Disaster (probably) and Batallion Wars for me.
Excelle Posted May 1, 2007 Author Posted May 1, 2007 Accurate dates. Well I'm sure we'll get the European dates soon: Metroid Prime 3 - Q1 21st Century
Teppo Holmqvist Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 I would take that list with grain of salt, as it is same that Nintendo has used since last years november. Only difference is that Kirby has been pushed to TBA.
Kav Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Hmmm, if only they'd let us know when Europe will see these games! Out of the list the only definate purchases for me are Metroid, Smash Bros, Galaxy and Battalion Wars.
Owen Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 I'll be really surprised and ecstatic if all those make 07 in Europe... but what will we get for Q1 2008?
Stocka Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Nothing new here. Most of them won't come out till 2008 in Europe anyway
Teppo Holmqvist Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Nothing new here. Most of them won't come out till 2008 in Europe anyway But strategically most important titles will come out here at 2007. That's how Nintendo / NoE works.
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Tis a bit worrying that we dont know more about Disaster and Project Hammer at this point in time. I mean if Nintendo thought they had the greatest game ever would they not advertise it a bit more than this? I think so. Therefore I conclude with these games being low key, kinda like Geist.

I think they may let Disaster, HAMMER and MP3 have the main light at E3, then blow us away with Mario and Smash Bros at a later event (TGS perhaps).
ZeldaFreak Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 I have deceided just to import a wii from america - they have better choice gamesout quickly and not much change between us and jap schedule
Mayjest Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Well, to me at least, that guarantee's that we get Metroid Prime 3 this year. We always get it before Japan (they don't seem to be keen on FPS') so it's looking good. the others have all been pencilled in for 2007 for a while though, so there's not really much change.
raven_blade2006 Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Lets hope they all show in Europe in 2007. Japan will probably get them and so will the USA.
david.dakota Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 thats a good list considering its ONLY first and second party games. if a few get left over for 2008, it'd not be a great loss. We're in for a stellar year, thats for sure
DCK Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Well at least Brawl is out this year, which is good. Hope not too many titles slip into 2008 for Europe. I feel Brawl, HAMMER and Disaster will certainly not make it here this year, but I hope that's it.
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Im thinking Nintendo is changing their release date telling pattern. Last year we would know release dates way ahead of release, and this year its much closer to relaease. At least thats what I think.
Cube Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 I can imagine NoE telling us the release date for MP3 the day before it's out. "News: Yogi Bear's Picnic Caper heads to Wii blah blah oh, and Metroid Prime 3 is out tomorrow."
Hero-of-Time Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 "News: Yogi Bear's Picnic Caper heads to Wii" I cant wait for that game! I have heard many positive things about it and I think it may get GOTY. On one of the levels I hear you get to maul the Park Ranger with the wiimote acting as Yogis claws.
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Believe! They announced Super Paper Marios date a mere 2 month before release. 56 days to be excact.
Pit-Jr Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 What happened to Nintendo giving Mario a break? Thats 5 Mario-related titles within the year, 6 if you include SPM. I can almost smell the milk from here.
