The Pronto Games team brings an ideal mix of talent and experience to the creation of handheld games and downloadable game platforms. Their team of over thirty developers has significant experience with development on mobile phones, PC, console and handheld markets. Pronto is one of the select group of companies authorized by Nintendo to develop product for the new Wii platform.

 

Pronto's combination of enthusiasm and expertise has led to an ideal partnership with Zorro Productions, Inc. for development of The Destiny of Zorro. The two companies are located down the road from one another in the San Francisco East Bay. Pronto's game development strategy holds a core belief that video games should be small, fast and fun (SmaFF). These elements almost match the character of Zorro himself, though to his adversaries, Zorro often appears larger than life.

 

As a fight strategy or a game development strategy from Pronto, "instantly engaging" is key. The Destiny of Zorro embodies the Pronto strategy - gameplay is showcased first. The visuals are high quality, as are the audio and storyline. The game is easy to understand, with challenges for casual gamers but with an interest level that will attract hard core gamers, too.

We are travelling down that sword in hand road then with the Wii....a bit uninspired, but who knows, carving Z's into everything could be a laugh.: peace:

 

SmaFF...Now that term is a bit cryptic to me. Does that mean it will have little longevity or be a barrel load of short levels ?

That bit puts me off, I want big games that don't take 10 hours to complete. (BIGFF)
I agree.

 

Both kinds of games are needed of course, but I find it harder to find value in a short game.

 

It's better to make a fun 10 hour game than a 50 hour repetitive one, though.

Seriously, I think that someone is paying devs to make games look bad. This is ridiculous. I know that devs have the oportunity to make games with a GC dev kit instead of forking out for a Wii dev kit, but cmon, this is getting ridiculous. Well, on the other hand, lot's of games come out which looks good on the shelves.
