Paj! Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Dolce&Gabbana T Shirt - £85 What? How on earth can that plain blue t-shirt be worth £85!?
Caris Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 D&G stuff is expensive, i was trying on a jacket which was £355 but i didn't bother with it. Edit: Yes nightwolf?

I do seem to be an anomaly in the sense that I don't see the point in buying a plain blue T-shirt for almost £100 because it says in tiny letters who made it... If it was vaguely visually interesting, maybe. Had something on it. But then I oppose Abercrombie/jack Wills etc for selling adverts as clothes, so yeah.
Caris Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I agree it looks like a Primark t shirt from that picture but it is lovely in real life, i don't often spend that much on clothes but i loved it. Anyways...
chairdriver Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Yeah, I'd never spend that much on a t-shirt, because at the end of the day a t-shirt is a t-shirt. I'd prolly spend that much on a jacket or a pair of trousers or something, since they feel worth it.

welsh_gamer Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Just ordered this for £5 from Play.com - maybe Caris should have done the same.
CoolFunkMan Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Today I bought... ...a ticket for Download Festival!!!! £175 for a weekend ticket with camping (inc. booking fee and postage.) :yay:
Tellyn Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Just ordered this for £5 from Play.com - maybe Caris should have done the same. You are the reason I don't have any money. ;[
Daft Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Just ordered this for £5 from Play.com - maybe Caris should have done the same. But then he'd be wearing an ugly t-shirt.
MadDog Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 But that T-Shirt without the logo, would be £3 in Primark lol
Paj! Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Haha took the words out of my mouth. But that T-Shirt without the logo, would be £3 in Primark lol It's not even that though, it's the fact that I could buy an expensive T-Shirt (£30) and it would be fucking awesome looking, AND good quality. (As obv. D&G is better quality than Primark) But yeah. Related but not, I want this; It's £19...it is lovely though.
nightwolf Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Today I bought... ...a ticket for Download Festival!!!! £175 for a weekend ticket with camping (inc. booking fee and postage.) :yay: yay! good choice, I'm going too ^_^!
chairdriver Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Related but not, I want this; It's £19...it is lovely though. Quickly! ------- I need to send an angry e-mail, because my Tegan and Sara bag has STILL not arrived yet.
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 What? How on earth can that plain blue t-shirt be worth £85!? Because having some prick write his name/s on it increases the value tenfold. My Step dad and sister seem proud for paying shitloads for the Ralph Lauren [or whoever] to have his name etched in tiny print [despite the fact the lens' were from Specsavers(or whatever)] and expect everyone else to be impressed.
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 It's different with glasses, though. True. People spend more for a smaller name. My step sister says "These are [brand]", no one gives a shit for you bragging about it, and no one cares thereafter. I buy the cheapest frames I can get which look decent, and I get my lens' paid for by the government.
Guest Jordan Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 After using £7.50 of reward points, this game cost me 49p
CoolFunkMan Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 yay! good choice, I'm going too ^_^! Awesome! Hopefully see you there, then. ^^
