Only bought 2 console games this year (apart from wii sports), but bought a fair few DS games. 1) Zelda - only played the 1st 2 dungeons but I can already see it as my game of the year. 2) Shadow Of The Colossus - Great game, brilliantly executed and good music too! 3) Phoenix Wright - love it to bits, even if it's not really a game. Dyson Posted December 16, 2006 Share Posted December 16, 2006 1. Animal Crossing: WW. It had` me lost in it for months on end, looking after my town and visiting others. Enjoyed it greatly. ToS would take this spot - I don't know if I got in 05 or 06 though :P 2. Mario Kart DS. First console online exeprience - simply brilliant, even though the game had its flaws. 3. I'll say Wii Sports, because it's the only game to get my entire family involved and having a crackingly good time. Honorable mentions go to Metroid Prime Hunters, which unfortunately was killed for me via the hype machine, but the hype itself was muchly enjoyable!..And Phoenix Wright, which still has some of my favourite characters in it.
