Shorty Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Here's my solution! Hold on to the controller! Agreed o_O some people are just way too clumsy...
solitanze Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Or make a special edition wired Wii Mote for people that have weak grip, like to exaggerate their swings to the extreme or have disabilities (including physical injury and/or defective chromosome).
Charlie Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Just hold onto the bloody controller. If that is too hard buy the controller glove so it gives you more grip.
... Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 total £8 with express shipping and insurance, bargain?? Are you serious? I'm afraid you were a tool there...
Konfucius Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Permanently glue it to your hand, almost fail-save. I guess one of the first things I'll actually do is to remove the strap from the Wiimote. I also refused to apply the thumbstrap to the DS due to aesthetic reasons.
Charlie Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 You know that has no way of connecting to the Wimote? The part of the wrist-strap that snaps is the small part that ties it onto the Wiimote.
Cube Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Looks a lot weaker than the Wii Remote's part. Which is the most important part of the whole strap.
gaggle64 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Some strong, girlish ribbon would be better surely.
Platty Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Here's my solution! Hold on to the controller! Totally agree.
Cube Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted, jeez can't people search. We already discussed it. With cheaper alternatives. But the thing is, unless you don't hold the controller properly, or you actually throw the remote, you won't even need the normal one. About the Wii Remote's strap: I love the Wii console-shaped little plastic bit on it.
Zechs Merquise Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Agreed o_O some people are just way too clumsy... Awesome cartoon.
lforster Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Well like a few people have said, the solution is don't be a spacker and throw your remote around while you're trying to chew your ear.
flameboy Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 A PROPER non expensive Solution good idea, i've got tons of fishing line at home from when I used to fish!anyone want any?!
Smiter Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 A small update; Nintendo are now investigating the strap breakages to see if there is anything they can do. http://theboard.zogdog.com/index.php?automodule=blog&blogid=11&showentry=6331 Maybe they'll decide to replace the string with something stronger in future Wiis and Wiimotes.
Drunken_Squirrel Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 The solution is to not be a spasticated cretin and learn how to use your thumbs.
flameboy Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 The solution is to not be a spasticated cretin and learn how to use your thumbs. yeah if the wii was being played by monkeys I could understand them dropping it. but we've got aposeable thumbs to give grip!!! the human hand has evolved to hold the wiimote now use your thumbs!!!!!
