Smiter
I'm very interested in seeing how the Japanese launch goes. I don't know if they have any midnight launches, but I read the stores will open at 7am Japanese time. That's 9 hours ahead of us, so we could have information trickle through from 10pm GMT onwards tonight, maybe starting with crowd reports. I must say I'm green with envy at the VC launch lineup. I want Super Castlevania, Street Fighter II, Super Mario World, and Gunstar Heroes so badly. Especially since I never played SCV and GH. I bet we see Wii sales break the 1 million barrier within the next few days.

I know the Japanese allocation is 400,000 for launch, so we could well see these sold out tomorrow seeing worldwide Wii sales over the magic 1 million mark. This would be very good news indeed! Stocka
I reckon Elebits will sell really well. Being the first online title helps of course, plus it seems to be getting a lot of adveritsing over there. By the way when does Pokemon Battle Revolution get released in Japan? Be interested to see what review scores Necro-Nesia the turdy looking game gets... Famitsu gave it 8 / 7 / 6 / 7 - (28/40)

Stocka
Our Launch line up is better than that tbh. You being serious? They get Wario Ware, Trauma Center and Elebits, and we don't. By the way i'm not moaning about the UK launch lineup as i am happy with it, it's just i don't believe it is better than Japan's.
dabookerman
They have wario ware and trauma centre aswell as zelda, this makes their launch lineup superior to ours.

Zechs Merquise
It must've been a good launch, Wii sales have now blasted past the million mark, this is a great take up rate and with the European launch not far off we should see this soar again soon. http://www.nextgenireland.citymax.com/salesfigures.html
ultrajamie
by the end of next week it should be close to 2 million... if they have another 500,000 machine for europe, plus the weekly restocks in the states and japan they have promised. I just can't believe nintendo has gone from that shocking e3 where they gave stage time to 4 player link-up pac man, to reclaiming their crown.
