My small take at MGS was just to illustrate the lack of actual gameplay in this. Seriously, I even like QTE, but can't they show anything more substantial and less context dependent? The part with the glasses was kinda cool but if this game wasn't so graphic intensive no one would give a shit.

Its bullshit really, and has nothing to do with sales or innovation, implying that games such as Killzone2, Uncharted or inFAMOUS have never been done before is idiotic, they're just better, bigger and prettier. In fact, the Wii has become home to many creative and different tittles exactly due to its difference and limitations. But, it somehow became cool for a moment to diss the Wii among the hardcore, a mentality largely propagated by the (American) gaming media which doesn't really know how to handle a company with such closed studios and a Japanese way of thinking. The fact that we screwed up doesn't give them a guilt free pass. Developing countries are now building their electrical infrastructure and have the knowledge of past experiences of developed countries to help them be more energy friendly. Its not ok for China to build coal plants like their mushrooms when NOW there's better alternatives to it.
