Thats speculation. No evidence to say thats the reason the games havent come.

Plenty other reviews score it much higher. That review doesnt seem like his judging the game on it's own merits but his just pissed that its not 'castlevania'.

I think I read before the wholesale price is £245

It is funny that they are doing this when I havent seen a Wii U in any Asda store I have been in.

I use my 3DS away from home. Still 3DS version for me.

Nintendoland & Gamepad. I think Nintendo thought the Gamepad was going to be the gamechanger. Remember the focus was all on the pad and not the actual console. For now it's simply about the making sure Q2 has some titles and then try to build some momentum.

And a whole heap of money. I keep telling myself its early but the Gamecube never really got off the ground and I think the Wii U could have the same fate. I'm just not convinced 3rd parties are going to support it going forward and there is only so much nintendo can do. Once next gen hits its going to be even harder to get the system moving.

Maybe not the bulk but they would of expected Japan to still shift a fair few amount. Wii Sports wasn’t bundled in Japan either. Thats not the problem. I think the hope was Pikmin and Wonderful 101 would be out for Q1. I also think they had hoped they would have had more Japanese 3rd parties to help fill the gaps but for whatever reason that didn’t happen. In every region I think they thought Nintendoland and Mario U would be enough to at least get them through Q1.

Nintendo clearly wasn’t as they forecasted the console would sell 5 mil (revised to 4 mil) and 24 mil games which a big chunk would be out of Japan. People may of expected this but Nintendo defiantly didn’t!!

It’s terrible and the worst thing is they can do nothing about it. The Japanese release schedule since launch has been nothing short of a joke. I do find it quite funny where I work hearing all the posh guys getting excited about this. They never talk about football on a monday but love Rugby Union. Personally I would rather watch paint dry. Rugby league though

So while the Wii U sales are tanking in the UK Nintendo have decided to release a new Wii. Why? What’s the new console again?

It really shouldn't be such an effort to know what games are being released for the Wii U.

Just a rumor If true again why the secrecy? Just tell us if games are coming to the Wii U. Looks like Ubisoft are the one third party supporting the platform.

Hence why no Wii U titles in the top 40 for numerous weeks is shocking considering you probabably can get a title in the top 40 by selling 1000 copies. From a post on neogaf Thread bump. Don't know (don't think) it deserves a new thread. Nintendo really messed up with the basic pack. People see no value in the basic pack at all!!! No point producing anymore. 3DS doing very well in France and with the 2013 lineup the 3DS should be an absolute beast in France this year!!
