  1. See, I thought that myself at first, but that runway is the same one from Pilotwings SNES, so it has to be the Pilotwings stage they showed before.
  2. Wait a sec, huh? I thought that they were doing console games only on Wii U and handheld games only on 3DS? Why are they referencing Pilotwings Resort on the Wii U version then?
  3. Wow! Does that even qualify as a portable anymore?
  4. Well you're beating me at least (now that I was booted and had my score reset to zero ) The lag here is hilarious. Just seeing everyone spasm across each side of the track is funny as hell
  5. Ahaha, sorry about that last one at the end there Oh ok! Joining your group now @lostmario!
  6. You there @lostmario ? How about we stick to Redshell's lobby? We've already got 5 of us in there now anyway!
  7. Alright I'm in! Time to cause trouble!
  8. Got this one last night and I'm enjoying it so far It's pretty much Metroid meets Minecraft meets Mr Driller. The controls feel really great (tight, with a nice bit of depth with the jumping/wall jumping), while the format of the game is like an open ended Mr Driller minus the coloured blocks/combo scoring system. Instead there's loot that can be sold off for various upgrades and items (like stronger pickaxes that let you dig faster or lamps that you can place down as light sources). The game is split up into two different types of areas. You've got your main digging area that is randomly generated when you make a new file (this is where you spend most of your time, digging down to the end of the earth in search of treasure) and along the way, you find different caves that you can enter - these are the other type of area, which are open rooms more akin to Metroid (and are NOT randomly generated I believe). These offer up platforming challenges, puzzles and enemies to fight and usually grant you Metroid style upgrade items. It's an interesting mix of game concepts and works pretty well
  9. I can do 7PM or 8PM tonight if you guys are up for it
  10. Are we up to Xbox 1080 yet? That being said, I really doubt that they'll drop the Kinect from the base package. They still clearly want it to be included in every box so that they can be sure that everyone who owns the console has one. It's basically their Wii U Gamepad. The console can function without it, but 1st party titles will be built around it - either for core functions, like in Kinect Sports Rivals, or for ancillary functions like in Dead Rising 3. Likewise, all of their non-game functionality is still built around Kinect first and foremost.
  11. That would be acceptable (though, a certain other Capcom classic title that might be related to a certain eShop release this week would be even better )
  12. Yup, same here. Always been interested in giving tbe series a whirl, so I'm looking forward to this demo
  13. Ugh! I've always wanted to play this game, but I want to play the original NES version before playing the remake. So irritating that the NES original isn't coming to the VC!
  14. Shhh, it only works if I make a comment on here stating how angry/depressed I am. Don't let them cotton on
  15. Guess they felt that Ducktales Remastered filled the gap this week
  16. Summer Carnival Recca will be mine!
  17. All of them. Even ones that you make yourself work as SteetPass relays now! (Some people have been abusing this to streetpass with people online around the world already...)
  18. When I say "new Pokemon" I'm obviously talking about event/legendary Pokemon, not standard ones. That would just be stupid. It would be like the 3 legendary dogs. You go to sleep and then overnight, they get added to your game via Spotpass and start roaming around the game world unannounced! Yup! https://twitter.com/SerebiiNet/status/366184336506118144/photo/1
  19. Doing those things as proper (free) DLC makes perfect sense. It frees up cartridge space (more cartridge capacity = more expensive to manufacture), shortens development time for the base game and completely removes any chance of hackers ruining the event content in the case that (god forbid) the 3DS ends up getting hacked proper. Plus it means that they could add any number of items/events/Pokemon that they want, over time, instead of being limited to what's on the cartridge on day 1. Imagine. You go to sleep one night, then the next day, suddenly (thanks to Spotpass) there's an outbreak of a group of all new Pokemon roaming the countryside!
  20. If it was removable, that could make for some interesting strategies in mid battle. I hope that they don't make it irremovable!
  21. If you prefer drawing with the right stick, you can do that on the Gamepad as well.
  22. Ahhh, only one Mega Evo... So even Game Freak admit that Mega Pokemon are broken by limiting them to one per team :p I hope they still have a separate Mega Pokemon tournament, where you can have a full team of 6 megas!
  23. That is bloody awesome! What a great idea! Double attacks sound completely broken! (Kangaskhan to become Uber?) Actually, I get the feeling that the game will probably have it's own seperate Mega Cup rule set, so I guess that tiering will probably be redundant for Mega Pokemon anyway...
  24. It's a good way to prevent people from just playing a demo over and over again, feeling satisfied with just the demo itself. And really, if you play a demo more than 20 or 30 times... Chances are that you're interested enough in the game to buy it anyway.
  25. IT'S GLORIOUSLY WONDERFUL!!! ALL OF MY WANT!!! Just wish I knew when it was coming out...
