Got it! (And away in storage it goes until after Xmas, when I'll have time to play it...)

God! 3D Classics Sonic is SOOOO GOOOOOODDDD!!!! The parallax is great! And the spin dash integration is so seamless! It's just wonderful! Makes me want to buy Altered Beast and Ecco, even though I hate those games! We had better get Sonic 2 and 3&K in the next batch. Those are utterly screaming "MAKE ME THREE DEE!!!" Dat parallax! Dose Special Stages!! Those two along with Gunstar Heroes, Sonic 3D Blast, Ristar and Alien Soldier are probably THE MD games that would benefit the most from the 3D Classics treatment! MAKE IT HAPPEN SEGA/M2!

I think it's safe to say that I'm pretty certain about what he does...
-
I have to admit, I have been guilty of that recently But I'm cracking down on that right now - which is partially why I haven't started A Link Between Worlds, Bravely Default or Super Mario 3D World yet...

Nice. Kinda kooky to see someone keep folders for stuff and then not put 3DS stuff in them. My one hasn't changed much, except that I now have the Youtube App on the main screen and I now have a second 3DS Downloads folder (yes, I actually managed to fill a whole folder full of downloaded 3DS games - I'm putting that 64GB SD Card to good use!) So now the folders are numbered as such... 1 = DSiWare 2 = NES VC 3 = GB/GBC VC 4 = GBA VC 5 = 3DS Download Software (downloaded retail games are kept in there too) 6 = 3DS Download Software (downloaded retail games are kept in there too) 7 = Demos 8 = Game Gear 9 = Downloaded Videos and the Health & Safety app God I need folders on Wii U already!

The classification is definitely real and it's definitely the un-re-released SNES game in question. Whether or not it's gonna be released any time soon is a different matter entirely though...
-
No that's a separate game entirely just called Pop N' Twinbee. This is a completely different game called Pop N' Twinbee: Rainbow Bell Adventures. It's also a separate classification that was made earlier than this new one.
-
Holy shizballs! Good news!!! http://www.classification.gov.au/Pages/View.aspx?sid=JcQg82%2bUj6EpXlHM7Wt%252fMQ%253d%253d&ncdctx=FF9xWpivmSOiCzhbJdbsWng4w%252fVJHSEgIn%2bmoPa8trrnFisvGzKrxTNaA6aKhvkX Pop N' Twinbee Rainbow Bell Adventures just got rated on the OFLC website for a Wii U VC release! It's a Konami SNES game that never got released on the Wii VC in ANY region! That means that Konami are actually digging into their un-re-released catalogue for the Wii U VC!!! We can still get the likes of Dracula X, Sparkster, Super Bomberman 1-5, Sunset Riders and TMNT Turtles in Time on the VC! Of course, the fact that it was never released in the US means that it'll almost certainly be the original PAL version running at 50hz, but still! Good news!

Yeah they are - especially Space Harrier. If you like Starfox, you'll probably like Space Harrier (it's a lot simpler, but still very fun - it's also a lot faster paced; both factors making sense when you consider the game's arcade origins). Just don't infinite credit pump your way through the game. Set yourself a hard limit of no more than 3 max (ideally, you'd try and clear it on one credit - play it as if it were still an actual coin op machine!)

Last week's full results... Wii U did better than I expected (was expecting it to fall, but it actually rose by quite a bit! - it's almost equal to the GCN's equivalent week on its second Xmas!) SM3DW fell harder than I expected though, but Wii Party U and NSMBU did better than I would've thought. Overall, a positive sign -
3DS exclusive and not a smartphone in sight! Thank Christ!

Dragon Quest 1-8 all coming to iOS and Android
Dcubed replied to Happenstance's topic in General Gaming Discussion
That un-even sprite scaling is positively wretched at least it's not as bad as FF6 iPhone though I guess... -
Can't tell, the camera angle doesn't show enough for me to tell if it's a new course or not... That being said, I'd be shocked if it didn't get released before Xmas day. They've been dropping hints for the last week or so and they've already started advertising it on TV in the US...

Funnily enough, Nintendo just tweeted this out a few hours ago! http://instagram.com/p/hfBIBGMY5K/
-
Wow! That's nuts! So they built a real "virtual console", which is a turbo charged Megadrive with extra background layers/RAM/Z Depth sprite positioning support etc and they're actually emulating that on the 3DS! Crazy! Still, it does mean that getting future MD games up and running in 3D will be much easier now (and they can port them to any future console that outputs S3D with ease too!) Gunstar Heroes 3D, here we come!
-
It's almost certainly DKCTF. They just released some new footage of it not long ago, it's the next major Wii U game to see release and it's also Nintendo's only US produced game in development for the Wii U that we know of (and thus the most likely for Reggie to be able to bring with him to show - given the geographics involved). They'll also probably reveal the 4th playable character there too. Don't get too excited.

Could be a Boss Battle stage
-
Nintendo missed a trick there by not having product placement in this game like they did in Pikmin 2. That pizza is so realistic that it could easily get Pizza Hut/Dominoes/Papa Johns into a bidding war!
-
Yup, it's the real "story mode" of the game as far as I'm concerned. Miyamoto said it himself when he mentioned that Mission Mode represented "the heart and soul" of Pikmin. It was also the first part of the game they actually showed off too at E3 2012, so it was probably produced first and then the Story Mode/Bingo Battle afterwards. I've bought all the DLC so far and the Xmas DLC will be no exception

OPERATION DEAD ANGELS: Bringing Bayonetta 1 to the Wii U
Dcubed replied to Zechs Merquise's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You should be interested in Bayo 2. The first game still stands as the greatest character action game ever made (and was the best game ever released for the PS360 by a mile). You seriously don't know what you're missing... -
OPERATION DEAD ANGELS: Bringing Bayonetta 1 to the Wii U
Dcubed replied to Zechs Merquise's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Not if it were handled by someone else like Hexadrive, or a few staff members from one of Platinum's other teams... Either way it would be very easy, quick and cheap to make since they already have the engine for Bayonetta 2 up and running on Wii U. They would just need to take the assets from Bayonetta 1 and get them running using the Bayo 2 engine. It's exactly the kind of cheap and quick project that Nintendo should be funding right now. The costs would be so low that they could justify it (even if it were to sell miniscule numbers), it keeps a stream of Wii U content coming (keeping Wii U owners happy for the time being) and it would help the sales of Bayo 2. -
General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion

All is lost, Nintendo is doomed, proper high quality gaming is nearly dead as non "AAA" movie games are actively shat on and destroyed at retail. 3DS is our only solace, but that won't last forever. Pack it up, it's all over Wii U will be gone by this time next year and Nintendo/Platinum will go down with it as Iwata gets kicked out and the company gets destroyed... It's indies or nothing from this point onward... -

The internals are modelled after Nintendo's D-pad now. Before they were separated by plastic, but now they're all one piece. The separation on the surface is merely cosmetic - underneath it's actually modelled just like a Nintendo pad. Vita was the first one to use the Nintendo style D-pad and it really shows! Xbone obviously uses that same style D-pad too and it makes a world of difference there too - it's by far the biggest improvement they made to that controller from its predecessor (shame that they had to muck up the LR bumpers though and make the analog sticks smaller, cause all the other changes were for the better )
