For what it’s worth, the SEGA CD version of Lords of Thunder is inferior in every way to the much more widely available TGCD original. If you don’t already have it on the Wii/Wii U; you’re much better off just getting the TG16 Mini when it comes out since it includes it anyway (and Snatcher... in Japanese... ).

Thank God! Something new at last! Not another bloody port or remake! Wii Fit (and its own iterations) are loads of fun, so I’m down for this. Mostly though, I’m just happy to see that Nintendo aren’t giving up on making insane titles!

I'd guess that they're literally repackaged Switch Pro Controllers and that they'll connect directly over USB; given that the Switch NES controllers could be used as a Pro Controller, and that the only differentiating factor was that there was no USB port...

UN Squadron won't happen because it's a licensed game based on an anime. The Soul Blazer trilogy won't happen because Square Enix own the rights to them and there's no way that they'll allow their games to be given away for free when they're selling collections of these games elsewhere (Collection of Mana). If they were doing a proper VC service, we'd have a chance, but as a subscription service? No chance sadly

Amazing starting lineup; some real surprise inclusions like Stunt Race FX, Demon's Crest and Super Tennis! Also @RedShell finally gets Super Mario Kart online at long last Though it looks like they STILL haven't added an option to get rid of that bloody text on the bottom of the screen! Seriously!? Come on!!! I still wish we could get a proper VC service though...

Based on my own experience? What Nintendo UK do at least is that whenever they hold a press event at their Windsor HQ that comes shortly before a Direct is that they show a small section of the Direct that is related to what they're demoing (and sometimes just a random bit of the Direct). I don't get it either. It doesn't really help anyone involved and it just makes stuff more likely to leak

Looks ruddy bloody good if I do say so myself I'm glad that the 64bit tonic actually gives you a low poly Yooka & Laylee this time; always bugged me that the 64bit tonic in the original YL didn't actually make the characters blocky!

Yeah, I don't get why they do this either. They don't even show members of the media the full Direct, so it's not like they can even get articles up and ready in advance, to post right after the broadcast, because they're only shown snippets of it Anywho, I suppose Mario Sunshine HD could be one of the two remasters that are supposed to be announced tonight... but my money is on Metroid Prime Trilogy HD personally. It was supposed to come out all the way back in February, so it's well overdue by now! (Full disclosure, I only know one of the two remasters).

Based on what I’ve heard? You shouldn’t be worried... There’s quite a bit coming this year that hasn’t been announced yet...
