No download news this week yet?? Is this a sign of things to come? What is going on?
-
Yes. Happened to me yesterday. Exactly as you described. I had a 3 hour session, so the Switch was nice and hot, a big fight, lots of explosions, Moblins, all colours of Bokoblins, and then incredible slowdown and ejected to the UI with an error message. Loaded it straight back up, and all was ok, except for losing a few minutes progress, of course. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Some speculation it's from Eugene's knife and not from you know what, but I think it's the latter Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Finished all the Main Mode's 2-player levels

None. I use the U.K. eShop and live in Taiwan. No problems. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Yeah. But when they add you back it'll resort to their chosen name. Weird I know. @Jonnas Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Must be that HD rumble. I knew it was good for something. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk -
After completing the, 15?, levels in the first area, called Noisy Notebook, it does indeed open up another area. I'm now on the beginning of the 3rd area and there puzzles I've seen in the trailers that I haven't come across yet. So at least 45, but I expect a hell of a lot more, too. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk Just checked for the final tally and no-one seems to be sure, yet. But one guy on Reddit is claiming there are

My son and I spent an hour last night playing through the first collection of puzzles. There's a lot of what we've seen in the trailers, but also end of level challenges. The two we have done so far are passing eggs. Your characters movement is mapped to fixed emplacements below, and by cutting scoop shapes it's possible to twist and pass an egg along a type of conveyer line into the goal. The sheer variety of levels so far has had us laughing, frustrated, but mostly amazed by the invention of its charm. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

There were 2 growing by an entrance to the icy mountain. The entrance is a stone arch South of that mountain. Not far from the Temple of Time, a little SW. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk -

4-player Snipperclips death match - nice, all the extras make for some fun local play, too.

Preordered a Neon Switch for pick up in a local game retailer this Friday. They can't guarantee the colour, so I might end up with gray. They'll text me when it's ready for pick up, which may also be Saturday. But I'm not too bothered as I work all day Friday, and Saturday is fine with me. Got Zelda and a Pro controller from Base.com, and that'll take about 2 to 3 weeks to get here, so I'll be downloading Snipperclips and Shovel Knight as soon as possible, maybe FAST as well. Will pick up a few extra accessories, like a case and screen protector in store. Already have an unopened 128GB SD card waiting, and I'm raring to go. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

@Blade We don't actually know what the Switch's power requirements are for charging (and even more so for the docked unit). The FCC filing states 39W, which if that stays true means that a standard USB-C 5V 3A charger might not be enough (like your iPhone one), and that you'd need a USB-PD capable charger with 15V 2.6A (or more). Guess we'll have to wait for further information on this. As an aside IGN NVC podcast mentioned that plugging into a normal USB slot on the computer won't charge the Switch when playing, just slow down the rate of discharge, i.e. not enough charge going in versus energy being used. I should imaghine a similar situation with a 5V power adapter.

Worrying? Personally looking at the Switch version, it looks great, and a must buy for me, an owner of only Nintendo consoles. Will it matter if it's the OG version instead of the SE?
-
That Celeste is looking nice. Other news, Snake Pass has revealed it price;
-
Yes, the Switch version will retain all the Nintendo related easter eggs. I didn't finish this long ago on the Wii U, and with the 2 player co-op, this may very well be back on my agenda, when the price comes down though. From NintendoLife Gamexplain posted a video about the "Desyncing" issue with the Joycons. Not as bad as others have speculated. Just don't expect the signal to travel through a human body with a distance of 5 metres between you and the docked Switch.
