Yeah, this arrived today. Managed to create a Hunter, walk around the village, find my room, play around with the menus a bit, bought a few herbs and a bug net, then found out how to save, changed to a bow, finally saved. Time for work, can't wait to go looking in the woods for the young whippersnapper.

There's normally a year gap in localisation between the Layton games, iirc, so just as the 365 downloadable puzzles run out, a new Layton will be on the cards. That's my feeling anyway. It's not so bad that Layton Vs. Wright will fill that gap, well looking forward to it.

BUMP! Anybody still playing this? I finished the main game a long time ago, but still download the daily puzzles every day, and finish it before bed whilst drinking a coffee. Anyway, along comes the 160th puzzle, which happens to be a Ghouls and Guards puzzle (number 10), and completed it, all the ghosts and guards, with intermittent mirrors, lined up correctly, but the bloody puzzle doesn't recognise the last move and won't allow completion. That bloody annoys me, now I have 163 daily downloadable puzzles with just that one 1 unfinished, just about to email Level 5. Petty, but I do like to see completion.

Dr Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training: Can You Stay Focused?
Londragon replied to -Dem0-'s topic in Nintendo Gaming
On the NintendoLife website this story of lateness is written up as a rumour, maybe an educated rumour, but it's still only speculation. Don't believe idle gossip until it's proven, beyond all doubt, fact, by the Big-N themselves. We play the waiting game in both scenarios. I'll probably download this if at a good price point, I enjoyed the first 2 games on a daily basis for well over a year each. -
Haven't noticed any difference since that 2nd update was applied. Background jiggery pokery.

Was it an April Fool? The timing of the release statement was near to that infamous day.

Wasn't the Letterbox app supposed to get an update yesterday?

Just started playing it this week, but can see this lasting a good long while. There is a hell of a lot of content in this game, from just cruising around and finding unlockables, to entering races, perfecting that elusive jump that @edza seems to do 2m more than mine all the time, and if you feel like it, collecting a lot of police heat and trying to escape, not to mention the online mode. BTW races can be easily and quickly entered by pulling up the easy drive menu and selected, you don't even have to drive to them if you don't want. Went online for the first time yesterday, and it worked well, drifting challenges, races, but had to leave the group early. Will try again today.

Will add you within the hour, my 3DS FC is on the left <---------

@daftada Available to play right from the start, as well as later if you so wish. What I mean is, the catwoman DLC is part of the story from the start, you don't have to finish the game to unlock it, but you can only play the different parts of it as the story progresses, you can't play it all right away. Unlike the Harley Quinn DLC which you can complete before even starting the main game.

Hey, my copy arrived this afternoon, spent about 2 hours driving around and generally making a nuisance of myself. Grabbed a few extra cars, took part in online and offline races. I suck badly, but it's all exhilaratingly good fun. There is a sense of being overwhelmed at first, but that disappears after a few races and the controls start to settle in. I quite like the motion controls via the GamePad and Wiimote, probably 'cos I liked them on MK Wii. Going to have a lot of fun with this over the coming months.

Or it could skip ahead,

Season 2 was far better than the shorter Season 1, it built upon the characters, some say this was too slow, and let you feel as part of their group. When someone was lost you personally felt it. I loved the pacing of the second season, also its continuity was fluid. It rarely jumped around, but followed a single narrative through the group's survival enhancing the feeling of isolation and loss when the shit hits the fan. The 3rd season is narratively all over the place, one episode Rick's saying something, then it's on to Woodbury, then Tyreese, Michonne, back to Rick who's now saying something different, then characters disappear for a whole episode and you don't know what's up with them. And, through all these problems this is by far the best TV I've watched since Season 2.

It's called lobbying, it happens in American politics all the time, gifts for favours basically, and the Americans seem oblivious to the corruption that allowing this causes. IGN, for example, have on a number of articles and podcasts I've listened to, especially the latter, mentioned gifts from gaming companies and made fun of the 'crap' gift and then followed up by saying they'll take that into consideration when scoring their game. I'm paraphrasing, and they do say all that in a joking manner, but to think that a nice gift won't sway a final score is acting in ignorance in my mind.

Finished downloading this last night, and gave the first mission a go. It was so good that I played the 1st mission twice, and managed to get the gem on my second run through. I can see that this game is going to be awesome for multiple playthrough's, due to its shorter levels based on missions. Can't wait until tonight to give the 2nd mission a go.

No mention of my specific glitch, I've installed the patch and nothing has changed, still stuck. So, I'll start again, but only after finishing Batman, NFS and MH3. Bye bye for a while ZombiU.

It's definitely there now.

Aaah, I spoke too soon.

Added you, My 3DS FC is on the left <-----

I got it already, about 12 hours ago. Go get it, don't know what it does yet though.

Thanks @dazzybee it worked a treat, just arrived in the Queen's bunker bit, after using the eye.
-
This has just been dropped in price at The Hut, 19.99 UK pounds. And, I still can't get myself to buy it, too much of a backlog, what with Deus EX and Sleeping Dogs, etc. also on the horizon.

@dazzybee Haven't got the USB yet because it won't let me move on. I got the C4 and blew up the wall letting me through to the kitchen and back to the safe house, where I saved. Now though, I can only choose to go to the kitchen in the Palace and the Underground Palace section, via the shortcut (those are the only 2 places available to visit), If I go to the Palace bunker I then can't leave that place, all doors bar one is locked, and it won't let me return via the sewer shortcut. The door that is open leads to the fallen bridge, and is supposed to have a duct open, but my duct is welded shut???? Are you saying to go back to the safe house and walk all the way to the Palace again (the long way)? I will try first thing tomorrow morning, during my Wednesday morning session. Thanks Dazzybee.

Just found a game breaking glitch. Shit had got so far.
