Bought some new jeans today. If I may say so myself, they're fucking sexual. Also, saw SUCH a shirt while in the store. They didn't have my size, but I put my name and number down for when they restock. I must have it. It haunts me, like phantom boobs.

Listening to Journey. Thing is, people are often all 'lolz, Journey. Ironylol' but really, this is some seriously well written music. In the last five years, who's written anything even close to the intro for Don't Stop Believing? Modern rock is shit- this is brilliant.

The Departed is rare in that it genuinely improves on several areas of the original movie. For me though, comparing the two usually draws blanks. They're very different films, with their own strengths (and lets face it, very few weaknesses in either case.) I love them both.

This game sometimes feels harder than the first and I think I know why. The graphics! Seriously: in the first game there was a...spartan cleanliness to the graphics- not much got in the way of what you were actually doing, and you could really concentrate. Now, with the much more complicated textures and animation, I'm often finding myself surrounded by a whirling mass of enemies and just getting lost. The much closer camera and obliteration technique close ups really don't help, either.

Recently: self centred, arogant and shallow man-children who think they're better than everyone else when in fact they're a deluded imbecile with about as much to say on just about any subjet as my toenail. related: the fact that they're seen as more socially important than people who can, say, form an opinion on anything other than the Premier League results table. God, I'm glad I'm out of uni right now.

Just seen the mid season finale of Battlestar Galactica. Utterly fracking brilliant. Also, moved out of my house at uni for the very last time. Strange feeling, but I was less depressed this time as I came home mid week and felt crappy then instead.
