MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE! Fucking Legen-dary cutscene! First time i saw that I was in hysterics. It's the wahy it sets him up with the drinks line, then just executes him instantly. It's like the purest form of 'spot the stiff' entertainment ever.

Agreed- the conversion to the 360 pad is fucking outstanding. I've been well impressed. Less impressed by Midway dedicated servers- they seem shit. Warzone is the nuts though. Fucking awesome stuff when you get a Darkwalker and just deathray everyone.

issue: This demo will almost certianly be based on the whizz bang action segments. I don't actually give much of a shit about that. I'm more concerned about how the people behind the best told story in gaming plan to top characters who go mad so far, 'cyberpunk norse myth' is a tantalising hook, almost worthy of suspicion that SK have designed such a premise with the sole purpose of triggering my over active imagination under strict laboratory conditions. If the writing and art holds up, I'm more than willing to accept the combat as 'a bit like Diablo' and play it through.

I love how people actually give a shit about the story in RE games. Here's the plot as far as I'm concerned: I will be in some adrenaline soaked cat and mouse shootouts with hordes of baddass psychotics. They will be staged in Africa, which will look very cool. At some point, the psychotics will be replaced by rampaging mutants and they will also be baddass. I will have to run away and find somewhere to fend them off with a badass shotgun. All will be well in the world.

Interpol last night. Completely fucking baddass gig. I was nay further than 15 feet from the stage , and they played some of the tightest, sweetest and most absorbing live music I've ever seen. There were moments when it was all I could do to stand there while the music just washed over me, grinning like a catatonic village idiot. I swear, the crescendo to Pioneer to the falls actually gave me a semi.

that looked like a standard frag to me- ball and chain style thing with the spikes being used to latch the wall. flamethrower looks a bit whack- I was hoping for a wall of incineration and fear. How long is it going to take before someone makes a realistic flamethrower? Anyone familiar with Saving Private Ryan and Letters from Iwo Jima knows what I mean- hulking death machines that filled entire bunkers with flaming jets of fuel and napalm etc.
