  1. Ghost Town is sick
  2. He was ok in Face/Off what did he win?
  3. You sick, sick man.
  4. Cage is routinely awful. His mere presence devalues the premise of a film by approximately 10,000%, according to scientific study by real scientists who wear coats.

    GTA IV

yeah that chase is fun. one of the better ones.
  6. Ok so I'll assume Spirited is in too. Not definite on team sizes: 4v4 is obviously the standard, with 6v6 being my tolerance ceiling. Ideally, I'd like everyone to have a full DLC roster as part of the purpose here is to give those maps a run for their money, seeing as the Legendary hoppers are dogshit and underpopulated. If that's too much of an issue, everyone should have at least Heroic maps and Cold Storage as they're free and there's no excuse.
  7. Can't stand Incubus, myself. They just don't do anything for me at all. Think I bought a CD of theirs in the 'mists of time' musical period of my life on the advice of friends and I hated it. edit: thoughts, anyone?
  8. So if say this monday the 14th, who could play?
  9. This. It'll suck now but think about the positives: you're free of a situation you couldn't be in any longer, and have a chance at a fresh start. Best of luck with everything.
  10. wow. relax, hombre. because he's right. Seriously though, Spektor's done much better. I think she's a great vocalist and song writer but that's just not a great example. oh, and for a truly beautiful song? observe
  11. I'd like to mention that all the above are excellent suggestions, and Mogwai are the first band I thought of: Largely instrumental, they capable of putting me in to a complete trance with pavement splintering riffs just overpowering the senses. They're utterly brilliant. On a similar note, Battles offer a kind of intense, structurally surreal take on math/dance rock that really takes you over. It's not the easiest of material but it really, really gets inside your head and takes your mind to a very, very special place. I also can't recommend LCD Soundsystem highly enough: Their Sound of Silver LP is a melancholy, wistful salute to culture and old friends since gone, beautifully strung together with some of the best ambient rock I've ever heard. For prog, you can't go wrong with King Crimson's Dicipline. Surreal, mind blowing classic rock in full swing with insane but hypnotic vocals. Genius!
  12. I dabbled in martial arts back in the mists of time. It was pretty awesome but there's only so much you can learn when you're quite capable of falling over standing still. it makes you feel very good, physically and mentally.
  13. I just got a degree in English. Even with my Creative Writing sub qualification, I can't make sense of that
  14. Anyone going? just curious.
  15. It could be worse. Russia are always acting like swinging dicks these days. Par for the course etc.
  16. yes, actually.
  17. yes. It does nothing for me. It's a boring, shitty cliché story with stereotypical characterisation, bad development, atrocious dialogue, a shit protagonist and a boring antagonist.
  18. me too. I'm a bad person.
  19. listening to Squarepusher for the first time in ages today. Fucking amazing man, he is. Must have a musical brain the size of a small planet
  20. note to self: since the epic thread, V is both a lover and a fighter. Do not fuck with.
  21. Preferably in the style of 'Airplane', having read Haggis' posts about her. Fuck, man. Can't say I can relate or anything but that sounds seriously shitty. Can you press charges, independently of your parents? just a thought.
  22. 'a rule change set to 'devastate' the world of boxing, according to an inside source who wished to remain nameless'
