Finally finished my CV and sent it to an acquaintance of my mum's at Sheffield Hallam who is, apparently, in dire need of staff. If I get a job I'm going to be so fucking happy. Been a bit down about my situation recently and I need some good news.

been to the pub for a coke or two and had a chat with my friends Laura and Olivia, the latter having been out of touch for a while. Was pretty nice to see them and chuckle over weird kids we knew at school. oh and gratz Ash.

'She's Gone' is one of my favourite songs. Me and Garry Greatie saw them a couple of years ago and it was utterly fantastic- one of the best gigs ever! How are you doing with Squarepusher and Tom Waits? Probably the strangest choices I made.

well I mean the jokes aren't all standard sit com set ups and obvious laughs. I think the weird Candyman bit in season one is a great example: They have the big conversation about exercise and then in Nancy's next scene she's been to the gym. no body says anything or reacts, it's just a background visual gag that just works really well. -
