  1. Akuma, I think.
  2. i got about 10 cards- the games producer gave them to me.
  3. does no one else reckon the game looks better with runner vision on? I really like the bold colours. also: it's not just red as I understand it. Each colour = 1 route
  4. OK having just been to London: fine, you win. It's great. Now shut up till I can scrape the cash to live there.
  5. I've played this it's awesome. Really quite marvellous
  6. that the new Coen effort? mixed reports, but I have a fondness worth holding out on.
  7. I'll get the barricades, you go buy shotguns. it's coming.
  8. Sup punks! Back from two days in London and it was sick as fuck. Tuesday I arrived with just a few hours to kill before I met my brother so I hopped over from St. Pancras to the British Library and checked out an exhibition on the founding of The National Theatre and, more awesomely, a display of super rare texts like a first folio published after Shakespeare's death, and notebooks by Divinchi. Then, meeting my brother, we went for a lovely South Indian curry in a small get up near to where he lives that was delicious, and dirt cheap to boot. After that we went for a pint and, really annoyingly, got accosted by a completely out of his mind drunk who was rambling and slurring at us for ages in pure, unadulterated gibberish. It was fucking crazy how much shit he was talking; he even accused me of chatting up his wife who wasn't even in the building. We had to convince the crazy bastard I was married to shut him up. Anyway, day two! Even better. I was invited to a press event by Microsoft to go play Viva Pinata 2 at London Zoo, chat to two Rare dudes and generally pester journalists for work. Good times, good game. Got a free copy for my pains. I got free entry to the Zoo, too, so I spent the rest of the afternoon checking out all their animals and generally feeling a bit like I was 12 again After that I headed back to Camden, looked about for a bit then met my uni friend Anna for a drink and dinner, headed back to the station and went home siiiiiiiiiiiick
  9. off to London now to go and play Viva Pinata 2, then get a free copy of the game. OMG!

    ur wut? no.
  11. GO! Seriously considers options*
  12. na there's been a few hands on now. They sound pretty decent- like a timing based version of Assassin's Creed. I'd rather concentrate on the 'where' than the 'how' of platforming anyway- so long as there's room for skill and replayability in some form.
  13. you're probably right, but I'm a 360 guy. I'm not missing out even if the pc version is better.
  14. incidentally, That's what she said.
  15. OK game planned for thursday night! around 8-9. Make a note here if you fancy it. also: anyone got a handy host connection? mine blows.
  16. I found out I was due at uni about 4 days short of having to get there. Aaahh, fucking mental few days that.
  17. haha. that's the sort of concise, spoiler free criticism journalism lacks these days.
  18. I would, but I'm off out with some hombres Thursday is my next games night. You guys up for it then?
  19. I try and play a late game, yeah. If i'm being social, that is.
  20. This should be better, though. Lower player count and dedicated servers to boost connection strength. Only issue could be DLC but hopefully the 360 release of the TF2 stuff means Valve could be pushing 360 harder.
  21. Yeah I'm also pretty shit. I'll revive my thread later in the week and see who can cook up a host.
  22. get in on Gears. We need to kick off a regular game on here I'm sure we have at least 8 people...
  23. alolt of kitchen stuff you should probably avoid buying too much of. someone will be able to provide any you miss, and any proper gaps you can fill as a group.
  24. so... Recharging health (now adopted by...oh, everyone!) seamless vehicle/ on foot combat limited, tactical weapon selection massive leap forward in AI perfection of the console fps control method revolutionary level design Co-OP campaign yeah, those were totally lame features, right? Nobody pays any attention to that stuff...
