Well I never played the first to death and I'm loving it so far. It plays the same but it's just bigger and better than before. It feels more structured (you get challenges to nudge you in the right direction) which is nice, and there's a much wider variety of Piñatas than before. multiplayer looks promising, too. if anyone cares what I think, you can find out over here

I know this is a nintendo forum, but I'd say buy a 360 one first. Much as the DS one got a slick review in EDGE, I can't help but wonder how much of the charm the games are carried on would translate outside the 360's ability to melt your face with HD glory and wonderful animation. Paper dogs are the best things to be a graphics whore about.

Viva Piñata is more like Sim City or a Tycoon game than AC. It's got strong strategy roots that make it pretty compulsive. I dunno- you might hate it

for us, it was never a forced thing, just heavily implied that it was the done thing. They barely mentioned that we could choose not to take a 4th.

I did 3 subjects through AS-A2. Way I saw it was 'why pick a 4th you don't actually want, knowing you'll drop it half way'?
