hahahahaha bah. I have my dole shit today. You on for 6 months yet Chris? Word of warning: get a fucking job before you hit. They put you on a course for 2 weeks on how to write a CV and apply for jobs with a bunch of pikey wasters. I'm trying to dodge the bullet today. At least I finally got the £383 they owed me!

I'd argue otherwise actually. Youtube is so popular that when you search for a song that's always one of the best ways to find it. Any record company with smarts is going to want their official presence at the top of that search list.:awesome:

Me or the photo? It does look a bit that way. The wall is all one light tone so in the light from my lamp it came out really flat behind me. I like it though- looks like the white room in the Babies video or something.

I thought it was pretty shoddy to be honest. Yahtzee was fairly amusing but his on couch persona felt forced- he was only really good on his own segment which felt more natural. and like jay said- they need to have a proper conversation instead of looking at a single camera like that. also, was it just me or did those ausies look kinda sweaty? less of that please, Internet.

Hi Panstu. I'm not usually the king and overlord of the Jews by the way. Shit just happens like that sometimes I guess.

A common misconception... What actually happened was this: Someone decided to watch The Terminator and Aliens at the same time and when Michael Biehn shot a time traveling cyborg and a xenomorph with a pump action shotgun at the same time he broke the space/awesome continuum and was never seen again untill years later, after returning from decades spent in alternate dimensions having wild adventures as a space mercenary and having sex with funky disco aliens he returned to Earth and made Planet Terror as for Newt...she probably grew up and didn't look the part.

N-E Culture Club - Lost In Translation 11th Jan
Dan_Dare replied to jayseven's topic in General Chit Chat
it doesn't go anywhere, really. It's not supposed to. It's merely a series of conversations and speeches about philosophy etc tied together by the dream motif and art. -

Ok. Waking life I quite liked it. A few of the conversations were interesting (really liked the existentialism one and the theory of conscious evolution) and some of the language was fantastic, almost poetic. The little touches of surrealism in the art were also fun and caught me by surprise every now and again. What I didn't like though was the sometimes shoehorned feel of the speeches. Particularly the one where the couple in the afterglow just...burst out with these profound mini lectures. I know it should be forgiven because of the dream framework but it felt wrong anyway. It's certainly different at any rate. Everyone make sure you catch this one as it'll be a real talking point hopefully. I don't think anything else that's come up has warranted as much as this could. -
Rate The Last TV Show You Saw (Spoiler Tags for Recent US Shows!)
Dan_Dare replied to Slaggis's topic in General Chit Chat
Screenwipe this week's show is about kids tv. It's rather brilliant. Contains: a demolition job on Lazy Town the most horrific thing I've ever seen- a public access puppet show of Christian anti drug propaganda for children Charlie Brooker presenting kids TV and a genuinely moving tribute to the work of the late Oliver Postgate to end on. great show. Watch it now on that link you won't regret it.- 3920 replies

ok new one Armageddon all of it

well that was actually pretty decent I thought. Ando's power is, indeed, badass (though I do wonder if it's possible to have powers *not* done by Marvel already.)

As Tyler, he is having sex, but the idea is that the tyler part of his brain is him doing the thing that as himself he is incapable of doing so, believing himself to be himself, he imagines that he must have simply heard himself fuck her or whatever so in that case it's not Tyler who's imaginary, it's him.

there's a T3 cash in but I think those are the only terminator games.
-
this game is nothing to Sands of Time. *sadface* I had such hopes. This was supposed to be a return to the idealistic, art driven gaming Sands represented. It's nothing of the sort.
-
I've heard the arcade game mentioned fondly. I dunno though- has anyone ever really tried?

this is a feelgood bonanza

I like it. It's not exactly The Wire but it's good fun. It does feel confused though, and could definitely be better.

so....Gears, only not as good. hum.
