Mew are pretty good actually. I had a thing goin for that album with She Spider on a whhhhhiiiiiile back. Been some time since I listened but I can't name a particular reason. Anyone know The Sleepy Jackson? awesome happy music a go go. Amazingly put together arrangements too with some incredibly eclectic influences. Can't recommend enough, really. Great band.

yo, dudes. Nobody gives a frak about lists. Talk, discuss. Say something you need to put more effort in to than copy+ paste from your facebook! The best band I've seen are probably Mogwai. Finally caught them in November touring The Hawk Is Howling and it was just amazing. I'm not sure I've ever heard anything quite as terrifyingly loud in my life. It was just an apocalyptic onslaught of noise- at one point (sadly, during a song I don't know) the bass was so ridiculously heavy that I genuinely felt I was about to have a nosebleed! The air was thick and heavy with vibrations that you could feel in every hair on your body. And this was a good half way back in to the crowd, too. God knows what front row was like. They ended on Mogwai Fear Satan too- quite possibly one of the best bits of music ever imo. The crescendo was described by a friend as 'like being shot in the brain by sonic laser cannons'. Quite.

it's 13 comics with extra pages from magazine cuttings, press papers, police reports etc. Quite hefty but rez was VERY slow taking a month. I read it slowly in just under a week or so first time.

dude. Sleep. my day's been alright. Volunteering was good for a change. Street fighter remains awesome as fuck and I'm getting better at it too. Hurrah! kind of ending on a sour note though. Appears as if I've accidentally pissed off my friend on msn because I took her (really annoying) messages to mean she was in an annoying mood and didn't want to talk and told her so. fuck it, eh? probably seeing her at jayseven's tomorrow so I'll let her cool off or whatever.

Akuma is pretty strong on the attack- He's got a sweet forward HK and some pretty powerful moves. He takes more damage though so he's pretty easy to hammer if the guy playing him doesn't defend really well.
