  1. I suppose it's form over function, but tbh I think it looks ok. There's alot of ways you can play with lighting, which helps. really though, I'd prefer the bare bones look over anything too elaborate. Look how restrictive and ugly Foundry turned out to be!
  2. these heroclix things look uniformly gash. ewww. Rez! This Green Lantern stuff: never read a page whilst in this mortal coil. Care to enlighten a brother with repaid postage?
  3. Dollhouse awesome, again. I love how this is becoming a thriller without memory. It's really very clever in using that to reset the expectations of character roles, genre conventions etc. It's very good. Also, Echo in leather...hello! Terminator. as above. If only they hadn't fucked about so much with the secondary cast. The buildup to this episode from around the time of the Jimmy Carter episodes has been amazing. Quality finale though, for what it's worth. I wouldn't want a 3rd season on where it ended though.
  4. I thought they were pretty boring. Very little stage presence. Yeah, Bat For Lashes was good. Good crowd atmosphere, good tunes with a decent live edge. The drums were amazing throughout- as was Natasha's set of pink overalls and fishnet gloves. It was a fairly short set though, and it did highlight somewhat that the second album is much better than the first.
  5. well I'd only rephrase it. enough frakin tori amos already...
  6. I din't make it but look for 'Tundra'
  7. It's really boring actually. Don't talk about it!
  8. too easy bra! Tori Amos had a series of songs adapted in to a comic book by various artists, including Neil Gaiman Neil Gaiman wrote the script for Beowulf, featuring John Malcovitch John Malcovitch is in The Mutant Chronicles with Devon Akoi Devon Akoi to Sarah Palin
  9. I don't suppose I can get away with not being in this now you know me n shit. Yeah man sign me up.
  10. ebay tells me the noir imprint hunt will be hencefourth cheaper. very impressed so far, especially with how dark the end of spiderman was. Horrific frankly. Wanted, on completion, was a riot. Nihilistic, sick, funny as fuck and genre crunchingly brave. The 4th wall smasher of an ending was as bizzare as it was bold and brilliant. Quality art, too.
  11. So. Wanted eh? glorious. Who can't love a book with a major character called Shit Head? also: picked up Spiderman Noir #1 while I was in Forbidden Planet. £3.30 seems a touch steep for a single issue but whatever. who gives a fuck when this is what it looks like?
  12. got it Morgan Freeman is in Even Almighty with Steve Carell Steve carell is in Anchorman with Will Farrell Will Farrell is in Stranger Than Fiction, a film as soundtracked by Maximo Park edit: will think of a good one in the shower Paul Smith to Linda Hamilton.
  13. eeuuggh rrod *sadface*
  14. Perfect Dark has aged terribly. It practically killed the n64 when it came out- I don't want to play it again.
  15. so much bullshit, so little time... anyway! Yesterday was...going well. Had a pretty decent Interview for a job with the DWP which could work out really well- they want 250 people across South Yorkshire so I'm in with a solid shot at it. Watched a bit of the new season of Mad Men too. Superb as always. then I got RROD faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaail.
  16. What a bunch of shit eating, irredeemable cunts! very Interesting read- though like you I feel inspired to commit acts of savage, post apocalyptic vigilante justice.
  17. I think vol 2 gets too much flak. I mean, given the end of vol 1 I thought it was done really well. Great character stuff in there. it's a little light on the punch ups I suppose but I don't give a shit
  18. fuck me that's shit! haha.
  19. how much do you make? (if you don't mind me asking) It's something I'm curious about myself
  20. Once I'm in work I can think about it. Obviously some kind of inroads towards magazines/ teh media are my preferences but for now I need the cash in my pocket before any kind of ambition comes in to it...urgh.
  21. I wuv you bardy. You take the time to write up my brain while I go out and get sozzled on cheap vodka cokes in shitty rock clubs this is new? now for something completely different! Jake To The Bone by Toto. Spotify if you dare! spotify:track:5ZMiKNozPwzIIkaL0vHZOb Fuck I love Toto
