    I've not read that, though World War Z gives a long term look at the outbreak, and your chances for survival. You basically have to be in remote, rural areas to stand a chance. Cities are total death traps unless you get out immediately, and you pretty much need to try and be where the army might be headed too. basically about 95% of us are fucked

    I just finished. wowza. Were you talking about Spiderman earlier? I thought he was incredibly written. Sometimes you forget how much he's lost and how that defines him then...seeing him have it all only to loose it again in his head. That was really powerful.

    I've only read the first few, but so far it's absolutely immense. Way better than Secret Invasion. Seeing Magneto as a frail father with a sick child was just so powerful. in other news: Dark Avengers is so good. Frankly, I'm a little aroused by how good it is. I just love how much of a bunch of assholes they are.

    I just realised that, as of Tuesday morning, my season of regular tv will have come to an end. Boo hiss, etc. Still, I've been eying up a couple of shows to cover in the mean time and a few dvds to march through.

    Coles Corner is absolutely amazing. I love it so much. Longpigs are obviously a very different band but you can hear Hawley's signature sound in there.     Read World War Z. The whole process is in there. the particularly grim part is that, unable to save the majority, the government and armed forces in all the major countries that survive the outbreaks withdraw inside natural geographic boundaries (in our case, Scotland) and seal themselves in with as many people as possible. Anyone outside of that barrier is considered a lost cause at worst and a good distraction for zombie herds at best.

    One plan is to get some tools (Sledge hammer, big axe or something), ladders and food and then smash the shit out of the stairs in your house. It cuts off the top stories from zombie attack and, with food, you should have enough to go on for a while without being in too much danger. You could use spare sheets to make HELP signs out your windows too.
