HOUSE OF THE FUCKING DEAD! oh wait, what i meant to say was 'this thread makes me want to go on a killing spree it's so shit'
-
this it's a teaser image guys. There's nothing to read in to it beyond pure mood aesthetics. It's not a code, it's not a hint....it's a picture of a field.

It did lack a certain...forward motion, but I think it's been good for widening the focus to include more episodes about the team, Cuddy, Wilson et al. Particularly...you know.- 3920 replies

aye but od you want to? less lists! moar talking. I saw Othello in Nottingham a while back- while not terrible, it was a bit diet coke. Also, Iago was rubbish. Having seen a couple of the Kenneth Brannagh films, I'd recommend those to anyone who can't get in to Shakespeare. They're wonderfully directed, fairly straight text to film adaptations and, crucially, provide the visual context of performance that Shakespeare needs. also, rez...pay attention.

I think seeing Shakespeare on stage should be some kind of legal requirement. In good hands, the experience can be little short of transcendent. It's one of the tragedies of our education system that so many people are put off his work because all they ever experience is a stilted class reading of plays from the text books. That's just not how it was ever intended to be, and I genuinely don't think you can appreciate The Bard untill you see it live, performed by the best. of course; Bad Shakespeare on stage is a bit like being stabbed in the brain. Avoid that, yeah?

Yeah basically. And shorty is right
-
Oh, they are. Hardly the point, though.

What can I say, I'm a Soundgarden man.

Maybe it'll be the first biopic adventure game- where you occasionally press random buttons to progress the story of how Kojima tries and fails in spectacular fashion to be a screenwriter and then inflicts a swathe of corruption on the Earth in a series of cod philosophical ramblings about the nature of man and war, loosely strung together by the story of a spy with throat cancer.

Not true, as it happens, but I digress. It's new thread time! Some of you may have seen the tv show or heard the radio version of this- basically: what really obvious life experiences have you never had and wish could. Never seen Shakespeare on stage? Been Whale watching? Taken mind expanding drugs and had an epiphany? Post away, forum. The rest of us can become increasingly incredulous and throw disparaging insults at you like Victorian visitors to some cruel and exploitative freak show

that trailer is fucking funny, actually. It's just the way everything explodes for like 3 mins with no exposition whatsoever. Pretty sure some soil blows up at one point- you know, because a Transformer stood up.

Autechre are amazing, though I don't really find much of their output particularly pleasant. Amber, for example, has often left me feeling unsettled and out of sorts. Still, it's an amazing album and I find the..severity of my reaction to it- almost physical- fascinating. Some other albums I can't listen to. They just sound like random noises to me. Some kind of experimental form of sonic warfare. I imagine that may, in fact, be the whole point.

aaahh, the beard question. One I struggle with week to week! I tend to keep a light beard myself, though I'm not entirely sure I should. heh, When I met my ex I had a big ass 3 week fuzz on. When I saw her again, I panicked with the beard and shaved- for which I was chastised! It was pretty awesome actually.

House- Season 5 finale wow. I loves me some House M.D. Just when I thought this episode was going to be a weak finish to the season, BAM! momentous finish. Very, very clever bit of screenplay that really threw me off the scent.- 3920 replies

so the new Batwoman is a lesbian, eh? first time a gay character is holding their own title? Marvel have dabbled in...I think 3 gay characters so far (which is pretty low, considering) but they've never had their own books.

na she definitely dies. Blood sprays everywhere! you're right though- they generally don't kill outright. At least not everyone. I think they kill over being killed, but anyone who's helpless = egg room.

that would make one hell of a game over screen! would make an amazing multiplayer thing too: one player gets captured and the others have to bust him out the hive, Newt style.
