You could say that the idea of the Mii in the first place came from Live Messenger's WeeMee. It's was very popular with Nintendo's new demographic for years before the Wii came about. Who is copying who is really pointless, because someone has always done it first

Im not at my computer now so finding links is a bit difficult but the new toshkba and samsung 32" sets can be had for about that. Theres also the Panasonic TH-32LMD70 for about £700

all ati 3 series cards decode Blu-ray on board, you can pair em with any processor and it'll do the job Other than that 1gb of ram and the rest doesn't really matter

Um, no it doesn't. All it shows is people didn't enjoy the less mainstream games, either because they never tried them or because they genuinely didn't like them. Anyhow, there's plenty of games on that list that aren't exactly mainstream.

It's a pretty good list if you ask me. Most top 100 lists wind up looking like the top 100 on game rankings, everyone votes for the most criticaly acclaimed games all the time. It seems honest, there's games on this list that are loved by a lot of people and yet would never normally feature in a top 100 list. As Wii owners i figured you lot might be able to understand that, your always harping on about how you love this, that and the other game, despite crappy ratings by the critics. Simple, hardly anyone bought it when it was released. It's quite a fast mover in the used game market, bit like MGS: Twin Snakes. People buy it, complete it and sell it on for the same price they bought it for, all without Sega knowing Woohoo! Roll on the enforcement of gaming snobbery! I could have sworn the point of that was to advise people as to which games to buy, not to thell them what they can enjoy playing?

Sooo bored! My Grandma is down and is residing in my room for the week. Went out for a couple of games of pool with my bro, came back and everyone has gone to bed. I'm stuck with an iPod touch for entertainment, my PC, 360 and Wii are in my bedroom! Just feel like a blast of team fortress too...

Thats because HD CRTs should cost thousands. Samsung tried to make them mass market, but had to cut the cost by such a large amount that they ended up with a piece of shite. Motion = Great Black Level = Great Sharpness = Not so great At 1080p LCD and Plasma are level. At 720p LCD is sharper (due to the higher resolution, 1366x768 as opposed to 1024x720)

TVs really aren't very efficient, it says it all when Toshiba are touting their new LCDs as being "Energy Efficient" because they have an off switch rather than standby... Anyhow, the most efficient sets are LCDs. From there i think it's a case of looking up the power consumption for individual models

You'll be fine taking the fan out. TBH most of the time if you remove a necessary fan then the computer just won't boot. Everything should shut down long before it damages itself from overheating.

Pikmin was ace, never played the sequel though. The only reason i still own a Wii is to play this, F-Zero (which they had better not casualify!) and Metroid Prime 3 (which i haven't got around to buying yet). Im hoping for independent control of Olimar and the Pikmin. Pikmin mapped to the Wiimote and guided by the pointer, Olimar on the Nunchuck controlled by the analogue stick.

At which point the game won't sell becuase of price. Even the cheap shitty arcade sticks cost £20 each so you'd be lucky to see a bundle under £70. How many people would honestly pay £70+ for Street Fighter? There's also Capcom's point of view to take in to account. Is it really worth the time and resources to port this game to the Wii? Most publishers are asking this question at the moment and most are coming to the conclusion that a completely new game is a better investment.

I usually just strum upwards using my index and middle fingers. No idea why, but i seem to be able to keep the rhythm better on fast sections that way. Only difficulty is constantly having to switch between grips on the strum bar.
