They don't tend to fix em and send them back, it takes to long. Basically, people whinge if it takes more than a week for the whole process, so what they do is send you a unit that has already been refurbished and then refurbish yours and send it to someone else.

Are you on Cable or ADSL? Because you can't have 2 Routers/Modems etc. plugged in to an ADSL line, it buggers the whole thing up.

So the TV is Mono? Would you mind giving us a link to the TV? What colour is the audio input? IIRC you use white in mono sound (but im not sure it actually matters tbh)

The other alternative is to get a component to VGA converter, or find out if your monitor will accept a Yb Pb Pr signal (if it does then you just need an adaptor).

Buy the 360 VGA cable. Buy a VGA - DVI adaptor. Plug the VGA cable in to the DVI adaptor, and plug the lot in to your DVI socket. There should be a pair of Red + White cables as part of the VGA cable, these go in the Red + White sockets next to your DVI socket.

There's not a huge difference. That set Noku just bought is a few years old, things only really advance when a new technology comes on to the scene. Roller Ball - Optical, Optical - Laser etc. Other than that a model of mouse that was good 5 years ago is still good now.

You can buy World Tour and essentially play it as if it was Guitar Hero IV. That's what i'm doing with Rock Band, playing it as if it was a GH game. I've not got the money for the new instruments and although im not getting to access the full game, what i am playing is substantially more than was in GHIII. I'd expect GH:WT will be the same. If you only own the GHIII guitar you'll essentially be getting an expanded GHIII, with new tracks, a character editor, the ability to make your own songs, select your own set-lists and play online with people who own other instruments.

Update, not overclock. Go on to the manufacturer's website and see if there's a newer version of the bios available because it might let you run 1066 RAM. If not then you'll have to underclock the RAM to 800, not the end of the world tbh because it'll let you tighten the timings up nicely

BE-2300, AMD's first 45nm Dual Core chip. Bought it because when it first came out there was a lot of buzz about people O/Cing it to 3GHz and above on air. Mine caps out at 2.5GHz, which at first was a little disappointing but tbh i barely miss the 1.8 - 2.5 jump so it's not the end of the world.

DVI doesn't do audio either, you need the same audio connectors

You can get software to turn an N95 (or other N-Series phone) in to a WiFi access point, so if you have a mobile web browser (laptop, internet tablet, iPod Touch) you could use that to browse the web through the phone.

It might be a steam problem, but try playing on that server i posted further up the page anyways. I'm on there a lot and only ever had one disconnect problem (one of the admins cocked up and crashed the server, corrupted the disk and the whole thing had to be rebuilt!)

2.8GHz won't be a problem, my processor is only 1.8GHz lol. Think i might have to OC mine again tbh, can hit 2.5GHz without problems.
