  1. Why would your car fall in a lake unless you're a rampant jackass?
  2. Incorrect. As soon as Lucca gets the Sun Stone she heads over to her house to make the wondershot. Taban then takes whats left of the sunstone to make the Sun Shades. That's what I remember anyway, and I've completed the game 17 times.
  3. I woulda thought Resi Evil 5 woulda been perfect for the wii with the controls and all. Good thing is though, from what we've heard from devellopers' difficulties with the PS3 it would seem that this is likely going to happen. It's not going to make that much of a diiference because 360 titles seem much more appealing to me than any PS3 titles I've seen so far.
  4. You know what I just realised? I'm crap at smash bros. Can ye help a brother out as to how to get better at it? I'm not sure which techniques I should master etc.
  5. If there is a god in heaven, It will be for the Wii, and it'll have a better story than Tales of Symphonia...
  6. I'm not a big fan of horror movies, I'm the squeamish type, but even so, there are some that I really enjoyed, most notably, The Shining, The Omen, The Exorcist and strangely, Red Dragon even though it was supposed to be crap, the mere thought of broken mirrors still scares the crap out of me...
  7. Noop. Surprisingly, Cube's the only console I have with which I have never encountered a disk error.
  8. How'd you do that then? Hmmm, this is interesting....
  9. No way, really? Those were some of the games that have given me the most enjoyment from my Cube. Although, I have to agree with you on Hitman 2 and XIII, I got very stuck on those two, and then just sat down and said, right, I'm finishing this game, and it wasn't that hard from then on, Developers generally tend to panic and put in an insanely difficult part about 80% of the way through to prevent you from completing the game too quickly.
  10. I have a new one! I want it that way by the one and only Backstreet Boys http://twochineseboys.blogspot.com/2005/10/i-want-it-that-way.html
  11. No, I'm not entirely sure...I don't know, I always use shiva edge...I don't know why, perhaps because of the reference to shiva, which was the first proper summon you get in FF7, and the first time I saw it I was like "WOOOOOOOAH!!!!!" So im not sure how or where to get the Rainbow sword...but you get the Shiva Edge from the Northern Ruins. Edit: Oops, sorry about the pic, I assumed that you had already gotten to that point otherwise I wouldn't have posted it. My bad.
  12. Oh, they do exist, and in their millions, but they're simply less rabid and more rational than us Nintendo fanboys, hence the reason for the diminishing PSP sales
  13. Wow, very cool, are you gonna get the rest of your arm done?
  14. Yeah, I'm planning to do something like this soon, but I'm gonna be doing loads of classic videogame themes, I'll put them up when I have them recorded.
  15. No...that was Duke Nukem: Time to Kill, which was also very cool.
  16. Hehe, thanks...I do try... Ok, don't worry about it, once you beat the lavos' outer shell, you have to get inside its body, and there is a save point here. Save the game, and you can then go back to the end of time, and from there go and finish the quests. If you don't want to do that, and are confidant you can beat lavos with the characters you have now, you should use marle to continuously heal your characters while continuously using Luminaire with Crono and Flare with Lucca. Good luck to ya
  17. Ok...I have troubly understanding this...why? Alcohol is far too expensive in city pubs as it is, (£3 for a pint! blimey) It makes no sense unless you're a Muslim. It may or may not reduce alcoholism, but it really doesn't matter because as a wise man once said "Work is the curse of the drinking classes" People will get booze one way or another.
  18. I think this system works ok in the short term, and I say ok, becuase it's all well and good for people who live in the UK, but the people who are really suffering don't even live in this country, they are suffering because of the governments incredibly hostile foreign policy. And nobody seems to be addressing long term issues, such as the by now cliched topic of global warming, which nobody seems to be paying any close attention to. What should be going on at the moment is the rigorous taxing of Aviation fuel, so that people don't go on unnecessary flights, especially within the same country and have Carbon and sulphur oxides being released in the place where they're going to cause most damage. When that spineless little shit, Blair was asked in parliament what he thought about rigorously taxing aviation fuel, he said, laughing "I think we'll leave it to another country to suggest that one." No heed paid...no nothing...I also think that it should be made illegal for less than three people to be transported in a car. If you have less then three people in your car while it's moving, you should be fined, and be forced to have your vehicle towed while you are made to use the public transport. Also, I think they should abolish the monarchy. She's (the queen) taking all our money in the form of taxes, and the only thing she's good for is tourism, which in fact is a negative factor, because of the traffic delays it causes and the innumerable japanese people around hyde park that feel the need to pronounce everything phonetically and point out the fact that you're asian before taking several pictures of various things, ranging from your crotch to Aeroplane exhaust trails...which leads me back to global warming... So in short, Blair needs to go.
  19. Yeah, I agree with you there, Sonic Rush had the most annoying "music" I've ever encountered in a videogame. But it can't be denied that the single player game was immense, I still play it quite a lot...but yeah, nothing really comes close to the feeling when you pop in your dusty copy of Sonic 2 or Sonic and Knuckles after not having played it for 3 years...and you remember just why you loved Sonic to begin with.
  20. Awesome, you enjoying it?? Here are my tips: You have to do them all! Which quests haven't you done? Tell me the descriptions Gaspar gives you and I'll tell you how to do them, they are seriously important, not only for levelling up, but also because you get specific ulitmate weapons for your characters, such as the fully powered Masamune (from the Northern Ruins), The Prism Dress...or less effective Prism Helms from the Rainbow shell etc... For your party I reccomend Crono, Marle and Lucca, but it really doesn't matter, you can have whoever you want. Checking my New Game + File, Crono, Marle and Lucca Have equipped: Crono; Shiva Edge Vigil Hat Nova Armour Gold Stud They all have their good qualities, but especially the Gold Stud, which reduces the MP usage by 75% which is useful, because you're going to be using Crono's techs...a lot. Lucca has: Wondershot Vigil Hat Zodiac Cape Sun Shades A lot of these are brilliant, and you can only get em by doing the quests Gaspar sends you on. Marle: Valkyrie Vigil Hat Prism Dress Gold Erng The gold erng is important here, because it ups her HP by 50% and this is important, because you're going to be using her Cure and Life 2 techs a lot. There are 3 stages to lavos, 1st stage he is just the outer shell which looks like this: 2nd Stage, he looks more like a cross between cell (from dragonball z) and the mammon machine: 3rd Stage is the true Lavos: The first two require little tactics, I always just use a full out offensive, what tactics you will need to use are obvious from the game. The third one however can be a tricky little bastard. The part you need to kill is not the central part (the part which does most of the damage) but the part on the right which has 30 000 hp (I know this because I had the sight scope equipped at the time) the centre one has 10 000 hp, and the left one has only 1 500 hp. Once you kill the one on the right, all three will die. Now heres the tricky part. You need to kill the Centre part first, and it counterattacks with some seriously powerful magic/physical moves. Once he's down, the Rightmost bit will turn its defence off now watch out for this, because this is the focal point of the entire battle, once it does this, go all out, and attack with Luccas Mega Bomb, and Crono and Marle's double tech Ice Sword 2. It will take a long time, and you can't afford to be laid back for it....you have to go all out. Also, what level are your characters? Chrono Trigger Forever!
  21. I didn't know Down were playing!? Theyr'e really good. Me can play all of Stone the crow...
  22. Hey...does anyone know where I can find Duke Nukem 3D? I've been looking everywhere on the net, but I can't find it, been dying to play it, but I can't find my copy of it....
  23. Haha yeah, You seen the other ones on their website? The guys are legends. Thats just plain mean! What kind of dick would do that??
  24. Aight, the Unholy Alliance tour 2006 has just been announced...It'll take place during November this year!! I just got my standing tickets for it at MEN Arena on 3rd November. In case you don't know what I'm talking aboot, it's Slayer headlining Children of Bodom In Flames Lamb of God and Thine Eyes Bleed in support This promisies to be the best gig of all time, 4 of my all time favourite bands playing on the same bill, on the same night...promises to be brutal Also, Slayer's new album is out soon, should be interesting to hear to see if they can match the quality of their classics (Reign in Blood, South of Heaven and Seasons in the abyss) seeing as the last classic album they produced was 91's "Seasons..." So who here is planning on going? Keep the metal alive!!
