They were bastards! Some of the quests were so stupid, and obscure. It was easy in terms of how much skill it required, but some of the things you were required to do and find were just insane. Pfft, Omega and Ultima weapons were the piss. I didn't like 8 as much as 7, the weapons weren't particularly memorable...

The quality is pretty ass, but it looks like Metroid, and that can only be a good thing.

I've been playing in arcades from the days of Metal Slug 3, but I have NEVER played anything that has got me as addicted as Crazy Taxi.

Seriously, growing your hair is not a good idea. I have hair up to my chest, I haven't had it cut for 2 years, or trimmed, It falls in my face, and you can't take a shower in the mornings because long hair is a bitch to dry. I sooo badly want to get it cut but here's the kicker, I can't. I've become too attatched to it, and it's become wildly unmanageable. You also start to develop a phobia towards barbers, because of the idea that they might mess it up, plus I have nasty wavy hair, so I have to spend yonks straightening it. Still, there's always the plus side: I don't look out of place at Megadeth gigs. Only go for long hair if you want to achieve the following: The incomparable Dave Mustaine... I donno...I haven't played that many to be honest, I had Vandal Hearts for PS1, which was awesome, and I've played Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, and FF Tactics, which I quite liked...so, is Disgaea pretty much based on the same principles as these 2?

I bought an Iriver iHP 140 2 years ago this august, and even though I cracked the screen casing by sleeping on it (yes I love it that much) and even though it has approximately 38 gigs of music (6000 songs approx) and scrubs eps (100 eps approx) and various movies, wares, games etc, I still take it to school every day, and listen to it for a good 4-5 hours every day. Most of my mates have iPods, about 2/3 of those have broken at some point. Moral of this incredibly boring story: buy iRiver, not iPod, and deflate some of apples much undeserved market share.

Right, I'm going to answer your (and my question) I went digging around in my pile of old games magazines and found a brilliant review of Disgaea in Games TM magazine. What's amazing is that they've given it a 9, which they rarely do, they're pretty stingy with scores (the only game I remember them giving a 10 was Metroid Prime)...So, this review outlines all the good and bad points about the game, and it's my favourite mag, so I think it's pretty reliable enjoy....

Aye, I bought It chipped, and honestly, I don't think you should even consider getting it, Imagine Tales of symphonia with no side quests, worse graphics, and without the fighting system and you have Threads of fate...I only bought it because it was a squaresoft rpg, but its totally not worth it.

Hehe, I got mine made region free, you get this thing which is basically a cart, but other carts fit on top of it (sort of like sonic and knuckles carts) and it allows you to play games from whatever region i think, also you can get 50-100 megabyte carts for it that fit roms, but I havent been able to find one, and im not sure how you connect it to your pc anyway... it's pretty cool, and It only costs about a fiver aswell... Also, im not sure whether CT will be on the virtual console, cause of the region differences, but it had better be, because then I can sell my last remaining copy for extortionate prices

I hope to God that they don't remake Chrono Trigger, or else I would be forced to play it, which'll ruin it for me because there's no chance it'll be as perfect as the Snes version...they would be forced to redo the music in something other than Midi, and that aswell as the sprites and beautifully colourful graphics was what made it so special...If they can get these aspects perfect, then yeah maybe a remake would be nice...although they should really start with releasing the original over here first. Still, I suppose you can play it on emulator, and It doesn't make it any less fun..., it's just a bit nicer to be able to play it on a big ass screen with a proper controller...aanywho, Hero, you should look on ebay, there's copies going for like 15 quid, which is a bargain, cause if you look in Gamestation, they sell it for 70. Also: If yaa smeeeelllll what The Bard...is cookin... That is all. Your psp can play snes roms?? woah, how? Me needs to get one!

I Agree, It was a great game...but I couldn't fill my list with final fantasy games, because I enjoyed 7 and 9 more, and Chronicles...well, I should have put that first because it has Chrono Trigger in it, but I didn't becuase the games on it had been out for ages anyway...

Actually, he was the only one I can remember that defended the name and said it didn't matter what it was as long as the games were good. But it's to be expected that when someone becomes somewhat of a celebrity and puts his opinion out there it becomes cool to hate him...

Yep, especially when you start a New Game + and you can just go about pwning everyone at level 60 or whatever, with all your tech's already earned...Best attack Imo though was Marle and Lucca's Dual tech "Antipode 3" at level 99, it does 8 000 damage or thereabouts which is pretty cool...
