  1. This was a must buy for me from the moment it was announced.
  2. Amen brother. *Shudder* Any baby that idiot has no chance of being normal.
  3. Only experience of CA I have is from the Marvel VS Capcom games. He kinda sucks
  4. Haha, Sepultura just aren't my sort of thing, they're pretty good but nowhere near the best. Dissection are actually another fucking epic band. Some of their instrumentals are stupidly awesome *listens to No Dreams Breed In Breathless Sleep*
  5. Yeah, I agree, of course there are both Pro's and Con's to the virtual console and both points are equally valid. It's a useful thing to have if you ever get the urge to try something you've been wanting to for ages or to revisit an old game that you've misplaced or that broke. I just wish that it'd be a little cheaper since all it is, is basically a rom, and Nintendo is providing this system so that we can get old games legally rather than just download ROMS, it's just that we'll it's not great value for money.
  6. Of course there's the counter argument that actually having a physical copy of the game is always superior to having just a virtual copy, one that you can't really display, boast about or treasure. It's despensible because you can always download it again, which to me, takes the magic away a little.
  7. I loled. There's something wrong with me today. How far is Chernobyl from the UK? :p.
  8. Today isn't the deadline is it??!
  9. VC is pretty good, but kinda overpriced. Some of the games on there I can find for about 2.50, and I end up paying 800 points. Still, it's a great service. I've been introduced to tons of games I'd never played before.
  10. It's still a question, and therefore requires a question mark. And Shadow spelt rhetorical wrong . Oh man, I'm such a dirty pedant. *Kills self*.
  11. Oh man, it's hard for me to contain my enthusiasm for this game! It just looks so amazing!! :D.
  12. Er, I have 3 articles that I'm just finishing up. I'm sending all 3 in, if it's alright with you guys...?
  13. Cause they blow . Nah, I'm kidding, I just tend to forget about them a little, they came in late and their thrash influenced stuff spans basically just 2 albums. The best being Beneath the Remains...they stole a ridiculous amount of riffs from Metallica and Slayer for that album . Heh, even the intro to the album sounds like the opening to Call of Ktulu. Basic thrash, but still pretty good. I see Stone Sour in your last fm...so maybe :p.
  14. Actually, Second Lifes active population is only around 250,000. Quite small for an MMO if you ask me.
  15. You're kidding!! That's just made my day . *checks out youtube*
  16. Don't listen to him, he's a complete ass. I think you should go and think this over very carefully and give us some broader detail about what kind of business you think you would like to run, because the skills you need could end up being very specific.
  17. Pfft, I'd be thankful more than anything
  18. Nice, I'm still growing mine, it's down to my chest now, great for gigs :
  19. Nah, but here's a smoke. Any last words? Lol, well my copy was a chipped one in the first place, so it's all good.
  20. Relieved, just got all A's in my mock exams. Just hope the actualy ones go as smoothly.
  21. Yup, Emo has a good point there, it's already a great read, but it would make it that little bit better if you just gave a description of what was happening to him physically rather than describing what he was feeling all the time .
  22. Just for that, I'm going to have to give you an awesome 11/10 . Even though I have no idea what's your avatar actually is....
  23. Ah, we have a true metalhead. *buys 4q2 a pint* .
  24. Alright, I'll give it a go; Book: His Dark Materials. Ok, many think of this as a childrens book in league with Harry Potter and LOTR, but trust me on this one, you are either misinformed or haven't read it, and as for comparing it to those pieces of nonsensical, poorly written drivel; it makes me sick to say the least. One of the great pieces of contemporary literature in my opinion, and nothing else has managed to coax such a strong emotional response from me. Notable mentions go to: Catcher In The Rye, Paradise Lost. Movie: I'm no movie buff, so my tastes aren't going to be as cultured as some, but I've always loved the Back To The Future trilogy so much. Just great, lighthearted storytelling, involving my favourite theme: time travel . Other notable mentions go to The Matrix, for being the single movie that I've watched the most (about 27 times on last count), Gladiator, and at the moment, I'm feeling the love for Blood Diamond. Album: This is too hard, I cannot possibly single out one album, so I'll instead leave you with a little list. I'm not going to give any reasons either, because if I get started, it's going to drag on for a couple of pages. Yasunori Mitsuda - His Entire Discography is stunning beyond words. Metallica - ...And Justice For All Megadeth - Rust In Peace Killswitch Engage - Alive Or Just Breathing Slayer - Reign In Blood ....Is this starting to sound generic? Children of Bodom - Hatebreeder In Flames - Colony/ Whoracle ....aaaargh, the list goes on...I'll stop now...
  25. That sounds rather epic I suppose there is some truth to that. Show No Mercy was also a great album; Black Magic, when you hear it for the first time, it's totally spellbinding, holy shit, I can hear that riff...magic...I've always found Hell Awaits to be the most overrated of their early albums, to be honest. It really started picking up...well, of course you know what happened with Reign...it's brutal, dissonant beauty personified. As for Megadeth, yeah I totally agree with you there, Countdown had 2 or 3 great songs, and the rest was shit. After that they released the odd good song, but never really in the same vein. However you can't deny that Megadeth's first 4 albums, especially Peace Sells and Rust, were totally unparalleled by almost anything, regardless of genre. Btw, listen to Rotting Christ...brillaint... Edit: This reminds me, you weren't here back in the day of my crazy metal threads were you? Maybe I should resurrect them...
