Is this shit actually any good,or should I stick with Gears?

Stop posting pictures and then insisting you're ugly as some sort of incredibly annoying disclaimer. Nobody cares if you're ugly, and you're damnsure not gonna get any sympathy. Shit, I can't even tell whether you're ugly, but it doesn't matter anyway. Talk about excessive vanity.

Haha, yeah, I forgot to thank you for such an awesome deal mate . Bioshock has one of the most engaging stories ever. Especially in a videogame. It's a huge leap for games actually. Anyone who's experienced Bioshock can't deny videogames' credibility as an art form. I love that Ryan isn't just presented as some completely evil bastard. You hear the diary accounts and it's crazy how multifaceted the characters are. There are even literary references (Crime and Punishment...) Holy fuck! I'm gonna stop now for fear of sounding pretentious. After this need to finish off The Darkness and then it's Halo 3 time...

Just arrived at Fort Frolic. Bioshock is already in my top 5 games of all time. Just too awesome for words.

Haha. Fucking pussies. It's the king of toff drinks. In fact, then only toff drink that I would ever willingly drink is an Appletini. I need to find a pic of me drinking appletini.

Mikael Akerfeldt and co just died a little inside. Although I guess they are the exception rather than the rule. LOG/KSE >>>>> Dream Theater.

Joe Satriani isn't really music though. Him, Vai, Malmsteen and just about every other esteemed "shredder" can't actually write music for shit, and as such have got just a completely mathematical and formulaic approach. It's all pretty disappointing. So mechanical that they've actually managed to eliminate any human element from their "music" whatsoever. As Alexi Laiho once said; "It's not fucking music, it's sport."

Thats just the thing though. All the Abrahmic religions say that god made everything, and that he has always existed, always will exist, is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. I've quite frankly never seen quite so many questions and paradoxes in the same sentence, but whats even better than that is the response; we as human beings are supposedly too stupid to understand the specifics of gods existence. Isn't it then a little audacious for us to be expected to believe blindly in that which plainly contradicts our understanding of the world. Another explanation that I absolutely love is when I'm told that this is simply "a test." God wants to test us. Funny, because since he/she/it is omniscient and omnipotent, and apparently our creator, he knows the events that would unfold in our life before they even occurred, and thus by creating us, the bastard is directly responsible for every so called "sin" we commit. So, with your traditional god completely out of the picture (at least for the mentally sound), I suppose it's anything goes.

Can't say that I'm hugely bothered. I mean, everything we have as theories seems to be baseless conjecture. Well, almost. The big bang theory makes sense up until a certain point I suppose, yet some things still remain unexplained. For example, the origin of the laws of our universe, gravity, time etc. It's just a passing interest though, it doesn't affect me personally at all.

Come Clarity wasn't very good. It had the odd interesting song. Crawl Through Knives was good. Take This Life was fun for a while. Come Clarity had a pretty good opening, but thats about it. It was a hell of a lot better than Soundtrack, but I kept clutching at things to like about that album. Their first 6 albums were all infinitely better.

Maybe (I don't want to say "probably," because I want to look forward to it.) I Opeth would go and release a new album...at least I know for sure that it's going to be nothing less than the album of whatever year it's released in.

No. There are a few video blogs on the net of the guys in the studio doing stupid shit, but no music to speak of so far. I have got high hopes for this one. Come Clarity was a step in the right direction after Soundtrack To Your Escape, so here's hoping that they can build on that.
