well, first they profile you. and if you are in a high category of fuckwit they will look a little deeper, ask for proof of purchase, photos with the item in the background, etc. some insurance comapnies now have lie detectors on their phones so that they get a hint of a fib when you ring in with a claim. they are not stupid, and in the uk at least they are investigating more and more claims.
-
lol as long as you dont have a dixie horn fitted it passes as acceptable!
-
as said, its fraud. where do you think the insurance cheque comes from? magic dust! ****s who claim things they havent lost are ****s. we all pay more! they are stealing from everyone who buys insurance. fuck those ****s.
-
yeah, they do tend to come back. reason is simple. they know what you had, they may have seen what they left, they know your layout, they know when you are out, they know that you are more likely to buy replacements with the insurance money before you upgrade your security! so, check your insurance. that is very different between countries and policies. but always make sure you know what the individual item value is, and the max for item type collectively. then make sure you have window locks, door locks and alarms. and there are even little devices that are cheap and will ring preset numbers if tripped. good luck.

what a great thread! oh dieter, did you get those under sofa blue neons from halfords? need for sofa - most wanted? (bit of a uk joke there http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10151&partNumber=654327 )

Symantec Norton Internet Security 2006 tried to kill my computer!
trisha replied to gaggle64's topic in General Chit Chat
my antivirus picks up a suspect attachment each month that the isps email scanners miss. then again, perhaps my addresses are known! there was a heavy attack once after the old cube-europe forums were affected, with the same virus being spotted 30 odd times in a week in my inbox. -
the employer can offer to make things right, but they have no obligation to pay your bills. if you dont have the money that is your problem. you need to check the terms of employment agreed to. while the company may owe you pay, i dont think they can be responsible for your bills or interest if you can not pay them. one of the problems with living hand to mouth. try and save for a problem so you dont have one. also see if you can move the bill due dates to a day further away from when "you" are paid. unions are very useful, even for those not part of one. browse their websites for advice http://www.worksmart.org.uk/rights/viewquestion.php?eny=99 or even student websites http://ussu.info.dnsupdate.net/GetAdvice/OnlineAdvice/EmploymentRights/tabid/113/ctl/Edit/mid/380/GetAdvice/OnlineAdvice/EmploymentRights/DeductionsfromWages/tabid/281/Default.aspx your local library also should have a range of employment rights books good luck. ps, even the biggest financial companies fail to pay their staff sometimes. i know that!

well it looks like it wont be announcing mario as a xbox2 europe launch title after all.

Symantec Norton Internet Security 2006 tried to kill my computer!
trisha replied to gaggle64's topic in General Chit Chat
symantec scrapped the sygate free firewall today. kerio's free one is going soon too norton is a pig to uninstall, and like many av programs will not be happy if there is anything already on the pc doing the same job. ensure you install with any previous stuff off. -
i have just played on an xbox360. the controller is great the looks are great the visuals are great if it was badged "nintendo" there wouldnt be a nintendo fan who wouldnt buy it. its stunning.
-
your points! hardly learnt then did you!
-
that would have been good.
-
well done hahaha oli i took 10 lessons, 1 test.
-
yeah, i was bored and it only took a few minutes. seems retail expects more psp interest and ds.

what the hell do i do with the stupid points i have got. i dont want stupid wallpaper for my pc

type of game style of game and then price. although if i want the game (and i bought a lot at £60 on the n64) it would only be price of the cheapest shop, not price of the cheapest game of the type. at one point i thought i would suck up all the games under £7 in the second had section i hadnt got, but i never did. nothing the cube has had has really made me want it, even for the price of a mcdonalds meal deal. reviews do not always bother me. if they say "plays like a pig, bugs etc" then i wont buy. but if they are just slagging the game off because it wasnt polished or varied enough, well thats their opinion and not a problem with the game. eg at the right price cel damage was great fun, it just was very much the same fun again and again. while metroid prime, looked stunning, but bored the hell out of me. so reviews alone, nor price = my reason to buy.

sony psp gets 9 pages listing about 127 items for sale ps2 gets 6 pages listing about 135 items for sale xbox360 gets 6 pages listing about 65 items for sale xbox gets 5 pages listing about 104 items for sale nintendo ds gets 6 pages listing about 66 items for sale nintendo micro & advance sp combined get 3 pages listing about 66 items for sale nintendo gamecube gets 3 pages listing about 56 items for sale numbers of items quick counted and subject to items duplicated over pages. but it seems weird the psp has the same as all 3 nintendo handhelds combined unless they expect that to match sales interest. then again, perhaps thats why game plc (who own them) gave a xmas sales warning today to shareholders.

Nintendo Advertising Hotting Up For Christmas in UK
trisha replied to Mimternet's topic in General Chit Chat
i prefer the xbox360 advert to nintendo ones. its too late for nintendo to change, but while geist looked to be an "older" game the adverts for mario baseball, mario soccer whatever and mariokart ds feature really out of fashion kiddy cartoon characters. i mean the baseball advert looks like its aimed at 5 year olds. sony as ever are advertising "nothing" with the psp. just a "style" ea have as ever dedicated a badly reviewed game with a "available on gamecube" big splash end cut. they always do that with the poor games it seems. oh well. at least there are games out there. -
you did. case proven what needs proof? currys are selling the cube for £25. the xbox is being replaced in a few days yet is still £95. the revo is coming out? no one knows. or are you saying they are lies? idiot.
-
its like ninty serves the best food in the world. but if i dont like pasta or fish, i dont buy it i look at my underused game cube. i dust it off when i clean the house, and i remember the lies.

sorry, thought you gave profit figures. were they from just the games divisions, or was i right to think you were saying what i thought you were?
