Well as I mentioned before I never played this during my youth (shame on me I know) - so I have nothing to compare to. It just has a 'greatest game of all time' accolade to live up to whilst I play it haha. I think it looks great. It looks like it will be a pleasure to play with the 3DS's circle slide pad and I cant wait to finally experience this game in all of its new yellowish tinged glory. Bring it the fuck on!!! : peace:

I sat down and picked 6 different Pokemon to what I used in White, thinking I had covered off all necessary types. But 6 team changes later it still doesn't feel right. And Battle Subway has just proved it really. I have 6 badges on Black with 6 'Mon at level 55 and I am constantly changing by breeding / Audino raping on White then transferring. My white play time is 124 hours!! And I still haven't caught all the legendaries or beat Cynthia on that either. But I do have 4 level 90 Pokemon on White. Which I am rather proud of These games are brilliant.

I shall do that. I actually enjoy the Battle Subway as I thought my team were really good but turns out they're not that great. Lol. Although it does seem unfair sometimes. My Swanna came up against a Gothita which used thunderbolt and it knocked it out in one. Now, Gothita isn't even an electric type and its a first evolution. Seems slightly off to me in places. It is pretty challenging. But has spurred me to change my team for my black playthrough (only for like the 6t time now lol) 6 badges in. : peace:

Close to tears now Need me a Life Orb - are these things like the most difficult items to get your hands on ever?! In order to get one on White I need 46 Battle Points from the Battle Subway in Nimbasa. But you only get 3 BP per each 7 trainers you defeat?! WTF. Will take me forever. I know you can get 10 points for havin a 21 match streak but I got my ass totally handed to me on my 15th battle. And I own SS and Platinum but I cant access Stark Mountain as I haven't got a National Dex in Platinum coz you need Manaphy from Pokemon shitty Ranger and thats the one i'm missing, and I cant access the ruin thing in SS coz I transferred my Ho-oh on that game to White and you need it to access the cave that contains the Orb. The Life Orb will make my Durddigon unstoppable. Why cruel Pokemon world. WHY?!!

Breeding question to anyone who knows: Long story short I am breeding a Druddigon which I would like to have Thunder and Fire Fang. I can breed with an Arbok for these abilities as, according to Bulbapedia an Arbok has these moves as its starter moves? http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Arbok_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29 What I dont know is how I get me a level 1 Arbok when I will get an Ekans out of the egg I create. I'm confused - how can Arbok have these moves when you cant breed an Arbok at level 1. Surely it would always be an Ekans that hatches? Am i missing something here? !

The new trailer looks amazing. Looks like a mash up of Sonic 4 levels (hopefully with homing jump as there was nothing wrong with it and it 'added' to the game) and Unleashed's day time stages - which were for me, absolutely brilliant. I cannot wait for this game - sign me up for a pre-order right now. Sonic Colours was good, but I did miss HD graphics - know that sounds stupid but that game was screaming out for smooth lines especially with how fast you went during some sequences. Hope they do some sort of special edition of it what with it being the anniversary. Something like a nice tin or keyring freebie or at least something we can use to show off our fan boy-ness. That'd be cool!

Yeah I second this. HG & SS were amazing remakes. And for me personally, they control slightly better than B&W as everything is on the touch screen including running shoes, and your choice of a key item - fishing rod, bicycle etc. The B&W C-Gear stops this and it is annoying! But like Ad says, Platinum is the way forward if you're looking at Gen IV.

I am moist with excitement. Is it good or bad that I have never even played this game in my 22 years? I feel like I missed out first time round after reading all the great things about it so am very much looking forward to this.

Currently changing my team for my Black play through. The team I had didn't sit well with me at all despite spending ages breeding them Anyway, I have 5 new Pokemon i'm using that I am now happy with but need 1 more to fill my party. I was torn between Cofagrigus and Beartic/Vanilluxe. However could do with both a ghost and ice - step in Froslass. For some reason though I don't feel right using a Pokemon from a previous gen in my team? Am I weird? Froslass is amazing though so I think I am going for her!

This is the most amazing Pokemon introduced this gen in my opinion. It is a brilliant type combo and is becoming one of my favourite ever Pokemon. I love it. ReZ is partial to a slice of Ferrothorn too

I so far have put about 82 hours into White - beat Elite 4 twice, just need to do Cynthia (battle, I mean). Have 5 Pokemon level 80: Chandelure Elektross Ferroseed Swanna Gallade (just coz I needed a pyschic and only want Gothitelle from this gen) I have loved every second of it. Now i've started black and have put about 14 hours in and have 3 badges. Team for black so far: Foongus Escavalier Scraggy Frillish All level 35 I am adding a Vullaby and Gothitelle to this team to ensure I have a team of 6 before elite 4 and will spend more time training. However, something doesn't feel right with this team? Not sure what it is. I know my black team haven't evolved yet (apart from Escavalier) but I dont like the balance. And I spent aaaages thinking about this team including breeding on white for it, thinking about types, movesets etc. Thought it was perfect but i'm not so sure. Feels weird having no fire type.

Hey, I have both of the consoles and both games from it and they both have barcodes. It is the seal around the games which have a sticker over the barcode to say about not re-selling. But take that off and all is good. Sorry for delay I didn't see this until coming home from work now ! Did you get?! I love my black and white consoles they're really nice.

Same thing happened with the Wii - people smashing each other in the face because the remote was a 'danger'. Its all total crap. I dont deny people may have trouble using the 3d but the best thing is the 'it has improved my eyesight' stories that the Sun are using as ways to show 'positivity' toward the console is laughable. Shows the utter rubbish they write to say eyesight has improved using it. Dont believe it for a second. And I also agree with the 'just turn 3d off' comment. Its the reason for the slider being there. I dont play PilotWings in 3d coz i prefer not to. Some games for me are better with 3d off. And that doesn't make it just a 'DS' either as the DS is no way capable of displaying graphics as high quality as the 3DS.

I have that very Pokemon. I bred a Deino with Ekans for Dark Pulse so have one at level 1 if you'd like it. I am after a Vullaby, but given it is black exclusive I guess you wont have one? If not, no probs i'm happy to trade you. PM me.

Anyone fancy helping me out with a Vullaby? I have White and am looking to assemble a team for starting Pokemon Black. If someone could trade me one I have a level 1 Deino that knows Dark Pulse if interested. Or if you are just very kind and want to give me a Vullaby for anything that would be lovely too. Would just use a Rufflet but Braviary doesn't look as bad-ass as a Mandibuzz Would very much appreciate
