Right well looks like I'm have to go the VGA box, will people keep me updated on what methods work? I'm not too confident with all this modding of cables. could a third party company make a way to to have it all in a cable, that converts it all?

I'm going with new channels we didn't know about before, dunno what exactly, maybe game leaderboards, for everything? the stats it has on every game how long you've played being viewable to friends?

I don't agree with you at all, I think it is just very shallow and limited thats all, but it does keep to its main reason for existing, just like wii sports shows how the motion sensors work and this shows how the pointer device works. I'm only really looking forward to playing Pool, and the duck hunt-esque shooter, the other games meh, I could live without, if it was a stand alone game I wouldn't be interested at all, but seem its cheap with a remote it seems worth it more. but maybe something like this would have been been better as downloads....

yeah it is worth remembering what Hellfire said alot of these titles were created using GC dev kits then the wiimote functions etc...were added on later. they didnt get wii development kits till quite late on compared to the PS3, where developers have has the kits for AGES.

New Games TM out, gave it a kick looking over in WHSmith: Zelda 9/10- didn't read the review to avoid spoilers, just peeked the page far enough to see score. Wii Sports 6/10- Clumsy and Flimsy Wii Play 3/10- said save yourself the £10 extra as you won't get anything out of it. GOW got a 10/10- gonna buy issue 2moro when i have the cash on me.

I agree with you completely, just wanted to get that in there and recorded, couldnt think of a better way of saying things myself.

I don't get why Ubisoft are getting slated for giving things a go... bascially if it wasn't for ubisoft we would have a very empty looking launch day...and ok some of them aren't the best, but when you look at the launch titles there would be alot less without them. i don't blame them for the substandard titles, they've basically ported over what they can as quick as they can, and who can blame them? they are after all out to make money, whether we like it not. They've had what ever span of time with the development kits and have just thought what can we do in this time frame... Whilst Red Steels problems are well documented, its not like they havn't tried, nthey have tried to incorporate the wiimote as best as they can, as they have with all their titles. I'm just afraid this is what you have to put up with as an early buyer. just look at the 360 launch lineup: Amped 3 Call Of Duty 2 FIFA 06: Road to World Cup GUN Kameo Madden 06 Need for Speed Most Wanted Perfect Dark Zero King Kong Project Gotham 3 Quake 4 Ridge Racer 6 Tiger Woods Tony Hawks now alot of these games were simply hi res versions/online versions of PS2 and Xbox games, (and even exclusives like, Kameo and PD 0 weren't originally 360 games, cube games infact!) and arguably out that collection there isnt one killer app, its all stuff we have seen before, atleast we have Zelda which is a killer app (if this wasn't at launch I would not be getting one yet I don't think) I honestly don't think we are anywhere near getting the best out the Wii, in terms of getting a higher ratio of great games. I don't think we will till the PS2 is completely phased out and the Xbox is finally gone (it is pretty much, fewer shops giving it space) then we will stop getting Wiimakes of these games and instead be getting our own builds of them, cos at the moment with games like Far Cry it is obvious that this is in no way using the Wii's powers, or even specifically built for the Wii.

Sit and wait for the Wii and Zelda to arrive in the post from amazon. play them for a few hours, then maybe go to work and get wiiplay and monkey ball if I can be bothered (staff discount) if I can't be bothered may just do it on saturday when I'm at work...

yeah i used to fish..and this game does sound naff, dont think it will stop people from buying it tho to be honest...if people like to fish they will fish...

maybe they thought jumping the gun meant people will buy this for the reasons you state...
