Your Wow Wii Moments I have to say I love that title I wish I could start a thread entitled that! A thread that discusses peoples divine moments/moments of clarity/the moment the wiimote clicked for them, and they truly felt like they were in the next generation of gaming control.... EDITYeah Wii Support thread excellent idea as anyone can go on their for advice about pretty much anything...

yeah same here, does worry me, excitetruck looked awesome and looked like it would single handedly make up for the lack of good racers at launch. But now I'm not so sure, I think it has maybe got criticism because it is very shallow arcadey racer and people don't like that in this sim/realistic era, unless people are ridge racer purists and then thats fine! (altho they are aren't that shallow now) Looks like its the cow racing game on Wii Play for me now...

yeah that list is good, can't really think of any others COD 3 maybe? (people are going to want to talk about both the launch FPS' as there is a massive talking point to be had about the controls... Yeah he's right, as this is what most people are gonna want to intially discuss how the wiimote works in general, so games that make better use of it would be a good place to start discussing it.

people are work seemed to be going Wii crazy at the weekend at work. Had more people asking about it this weekend than ever. But meant a lot of disappointed parents, most of them politely asking if we had started taking preorders, I had to inform them we had started taking them in september and they thought it was stupid that people were allowed to reserve them so early! Anyway, bit of an update on Wii supplies: At HMV we are getting the first batch then a second batch the week after (which is supposed to have all the preorders covered) then any after that are gonna be on sale, apparently a similar system to America will exist and we will get new Wii stock every week.

maybe yeah, have first impressions threads, but only for the major titles, everything else should be at request.

argh dammit- whilst I won't admit it to the extent you do I probably have been watching it nearly as closely as you. I think what it is, is that OOT is my favourite game and I love it that its top of gamerankings as the shining knight of nintendo's achievements, so I'm hoping TP will be as good and therefore take its place in the top 10 EDIT: yeah solitanze I have 8/10 crazy plus 4 pages- one of IGN's longest reviews for a minigame collection! I doubt it will get as higher on US IGN!

ok point taken....for now..... so back on topic, what place is Zelda TP in gamerankings now? lol No seriously, what do people make of the Wii Play scores, its got some pretty rubbish scores and it does seem very limited in it's scope, and seeing as we are expected to pay for it (ok only £10 but its still money) do people perhaps think it should have just been left as a tech demo, maybe free to download, or actually free with the wiimote rather than being an actual product we pay for? I appreciate judgement may have to be reserved until we actually play it...

Thanks for making that sound so patronising and belittling. Couldn't agree more. Sorry F_L think your just getting the brunt of my frustration on this point, had come on tonight wanting to start a thread, only to find I couldn't. Don't take it personally I just don't see how putting in a request to start a thread then waiting for it to be put forward, then what has to get approved, so labourious for something that for the most part, most of us know how to do sensibly. Don't remember this being done at cube launch (correct me if I'm wrong) and that went fine...

I can't see this happening if the Wii remains as slow as it currently is at downloads and connecting to the Wii Shop etc..

I'm glad I'm not the only one yeah at work (hmv) we are getting 30 wii plays but only 6 wiimotes on their own...

well finally got to a wii tour event today, at meadowhall. there were only 2 wii's (dunno if there were more at the oasis?) there was too big a queue for tennis) so had to play wii play and laser hockey, against some little kid who didn't seem to know wot on earth he was doing. I was moderatly impressed the Wii seemed very accurate at mimicing my movements...just wish I had been given the chance to play more...but nevermind...

I think worries about Zelda are abit short of the mark, we've only on got 25 wii's coming in at work, despite 56 preorders, but are getting 60 Zelda's in aswell as 30 Wii Plays!

yeah that would work... how about a fire emblem based MMO? or another nintendo franchise.. it worked changing phantasy star so why not one of these?

you get them early? at HMV we don't get such perks and ain't allowed to buy things early...

Rare will own the game code surely? the game was only published by Nintendo, which means they only owned the distribution rights as publisher.
