What's the biggest memory card that the PSP 3000 works with? and cheapest place to get such things...just I'm thinking may get a big one for downloading games...I'm actually running out of shelf space so perhaps now will just get them off PSN...

Good preview over at Eurogamer; http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/e3-modnation-racers-preview Gives sense of the fundamental differences there are in the design choices they've made regarding level creation. One thing I've wondered about about the actual karting is how good will it be? Just LBP did get criticism for not being that tight a platformer, due to the loose controls and the slight problems of moving between the 3 planes. I think however that the overall experience of LBP made up for these slight misgivings some people might have.

I keep thinking of getting one but need to sort out my lack of aerial socket in my bedroom first, as doubt this would on even the best internal digital aerials.

To be honest dwarf if you added lol to the end of most of your remarks it would somehow become less offensive. It's wierd how you can pretty much get away with anything if you add lol or rofl to end of it...

Is the camera used by this the playstation eye or a newer refined version, just asking because watching thefeed on g4tv and just the way they worded was it was a new camera that made me wonder.

Just left my PS3 downloading an absolute shit ton of the E3 trailers...time to watch them in all their glory rather than on netbook.

If you can find an old PS3 you can get one with BC but they are hard to find...its bloody annoying trust me...The advertised a while back for software engineers for such a thing and I've been holding out ever since that they'd add it but no joy yet. I think its far more likely they will add PS2 titles to PSN and emulate them on a game by game basis.

Because WM+ (nice shortening btw) is purely motion sensor based. Whereas Sony's is tracking in 3D via the camera...The wiimote doesn't know where it is relation to anything, the sensor bar is purely for pointer use and does not track where anything is. Having said that the Wii does do a good job of the illusion that it knows where things are through the use of gestures reliant on you putting the wiimote where it tells you to, for example in EA Sports Active putting the nunchuk in the little pouch, you could likely cheat the system by not doing it, but it relies on you doing it.

God talk about a sweeping offensive statement...It's no different to all the Nintendo fans who said yeah we don't need graphics we've got motion controls, that stance will soon change once Wii HD hits (and it will at some point) Sony have had motion controls in their console (yes they jumped on the bandwagon) since day one and whilst there has been plenty of dodgy implementation (much like the Wii) when its right its right. MS (who I'm no fan of) are clearly taking a different approach with its lack of controller and I think thats whats got their fans excited.

Well heard that this is being made by the Metal Gear team and whilst Rising's Lightning Bolt Action will be handled by a different team which figures. Personally really looking forward to it. Definitely got to pick up a PS2 now to finally play Subsistence. One interesting theory Mark Mcdonald one Listen Up! had was that perhaps the game will have a Monster Hunter multiplayer vibe? He based it purely on the 4 snakes and the appearance of Metal Gear Ray as the Dragon kinda...its just a theory he said it was the first thing that sprung to his mind when he saw the trailer...personally am intrigued how the hell they will explain four naked snakes in the story...guess it is simple cloning, but justifying it in a plot is a bit different...unless the multiplayer is separate and not a part of the main story.

Looks fantastic...When Nathan was at the top of the city and looking down it looked amazing gave a huge sense of scope, I actually think the city looked impressive than Assassin's Creed but of course the experience is far more linear as you are funneled through the parts of the city Naughty Dog want you to see. Also love Nathan's witty remarks throughout, its spot on helps to characterize him in a very organic way without the intrusion of cut scenes. That's mostly the work of Amy Hennig the games director who is a very articulate, clever, witty and charming woman, she once appeared on 1up Yours and came across really well..

I have to say despite my skepticism about Natal I am tempted to buy a 360 BUT I think there is enough on PS3, PSP and just enough hardcore games on Wii to keep me satisfied. I think the fact that Microsoft very clearly points out it works with future xbox models makes me think Xbox 720 isn't all that far away. I don't its necessarily going to be proper next gen console but may be more iterative. This is purely because of the strength of the platform. I'm weighing up getting a DSi or an iphone/ipod touch and think either would be a better purchase to complement my gaming already.

I think this is impressive but a lot more of Natal and Mylo in specific is software based and I'm sure it can be done by other people with a camera. I mean why were people so impressed that you could see your reflection in the water...eyetoy has been doing that kinda thing for ages. Plus eyepet which was shown off GDC last year (I think?) was showing off picture recognition a while back... Also they said his understanding of language is in a way an illusion and that he doesn't understand it, its based on the Windows 7 voice recognition apparently. This tech isn't really related to Natal though anybody with a mic could work on such material, I guess putting it together in one package could be an inspired move. I think the promo reel they showed impressed people but for me the stuff they actually showed was less impressive...Whereas Sony showed tech demos that perhaps weren't as impressive but a clearer indicator of where they are really at. I think its clear both MS and Sony are taking very different approaches. Sony clearly think for now there isn't a future in purely gesture based controls and think there needs to more than "just" the motion controls of the Wii but with integration of a motion device as well as a camera.

Yeah think this is the greatest thing about this looks so simple and easy to do. It makes it more easy to use and intuitive than LBP, makes it more accessible for the masses and for me will mean I spend far more time with it. I liked their expanding of the Play, Share, Create. They could easily branded this as an LBP product I think but Kudos for them to for creating what seems like another loveable set of characters in their own universe.
